I agree. Top of the rock is a much better view and overall experience than empire state if you dont have time for both. The sea,air and space museum on the hudson river is worth a visit if your interested in that kind of thing. They have a battleship docked with lots of fighter planes through the ages plus a concord you can go inside as well as a nuclear sub docked you can go inside.

Yes, those kits are correct. It will cost just as much to put it back oem and you will still need a full alignment done

With a 30mm drop you will need adjustable front and rear camber arms and adj toe bolts to get back to oem specs Because all the suspension parts are essentially connected you cant adjust one without effecting the other and the standard zed components only allow the smallest of adjustment, not sure you can dven adj camber. I put the rear arms and toe bolts on only as its a cheaper option and its more important as far as im aware for the rear driven wheels to have less camber and bigger contact patch for acceleration. A small amount of negative camber on front is beneficial for most situations, hey some people add even more than the drop will give you, that coupled with the £450 cost plus fitting plus geo setup is why i have left it as is.

I have a bosch s4 005 60a which i got from eurocarparts. Putting that in google with halfords at the end brings up a HCB005 62a which to the untrained eye looks the same type and size. With 4 year guarantee

My 350 has coilovers on and lowered around 25mm. I appreciate every zed will be slightly different but below photo will give you an idea of what to expect geometry wise. Bottom left pic when car first went in for alignment after coilovers fitted. Top left pic, after alignment setup done, as you can see there is very little adjustment for stock parts Right pic, after fitting adjustable rear camber arms and adj toe bolts, full adjustment (-3 to +3) achievable I am happy with the setup now as camber is -1.3 all round but would require front adj camber arms to get it fully green. The rear camber kit cost approx £150 (eibach) the fronts are more like £450 so that is for the future.

It doesn't match as such but is a direct replacement if that makes sense. I think the diameter of the st/steel is bigger to allow for a few extra horses and the back box is smaller then you have an option of resonated or not which will add in a mid box. Mines resonated and is still very loud. The y pipe is optional as are de-cats or HFCs. They still connect to existing brackets and mountings though so no fabricating or fudging is required. Speak to Mitz at cougarstore if you need any info. He fitted mine and has fitted loads for members on here.

I firstly put the cobra cat back exhaust on, was a lovely deep burble ticking over and deep roar moving up the revs, then recently added the cobra HFCs which now introduce a lot of rasp above 4000rpm so i get the best of both. I love it

If you still want CL pads give Mitz a call at Cougarstore. Just booked my zed in for some work beginning of next month inc new CL6 pads and he got hold of some straight away for me although he said it is usually 4-5 weeks. Worth a phonecall though, you could have them within a week.

I can only speak for my HR but there isnt any change when i go above 5k revs which is everytime i take it out as only drive it every other weekend. Dont know what your issue may be, someone will be able to offer advice.

Isnt there a way to find out who is on holiday each week (HR department) if that many people work in the building then surely there will be someone off most weeks on holiday, especially through the summer months and you just have to ask them if its ok to use their space whilst on hols?

I feel your pain davey. I have had the zed a year now, only done the shopping in it once at Morrisons and came out to a dent in drivers door, not done weekly shop in it since, although saying that my daily Beamer, first 2 weeks at new work place parking in dedicated car park next to other staff, no fewer than 3 dents in doors in 2 weeks. So even your spot at work is no guarantee of a safe spot. How about asking someone you know fairly well who has a spot if they would alternate weeks with you then at least you get to use the zed half of each month? If you explained your position you may be suprised how accomodating snd sympathetic people can be. Of course they could slso tell you to shove it. 50/50 gamble

More specifically the Green Hell, i know how some of you think! Me and the bro are booked in for weekend of 20th May and cannot wait although the thought of driving the zed with no insurance to fall back on is a little scary, the moto "you only live once" always makes my decisions. So, What i need from you good people is the essentials list or highly recommended for travel to/from and during the time on track. My Zed has already had a bit spent on it. I wont go into the full list as will do a build thread soon and i will hopefully be getting the uprev done in April. What i know i will need are better pads. Got the hawk ceramic standard type pads at minute which say strictly road use so what are the better option. I am not bothered about squeel but would prefer low dust although again rather have the performance than clean wheels as gonna be doing more track days in future. Also does the oil need upgrading? Mitz will be doing a service soon, heard that the titan race oil is a great option? I have already purchased a helmet. Any other safety related items needed? Then onto travel. Going from Hull on P&O ferries to Zeebrugge. The Zed is lowered by around 40mm. Any issue getting on/off ferry? What do i need for travel through Belgium to Germany? Do i realy need headlight stickers when all driving will be done in daylight, Is it ok to just have them in glovebox? Do i need a first aid kit? Again, people that have been, were you stopped anytime and asked to show A,B an C ? I will be getting Greenflag breakdown assistance for Europe before I go or is there a preffered option? My passport runs out in August but i dont think you need 6 months left on like outside EU Any other tips and advise welcome. Need to know how you pay for laps as i believe its all done on an app now, changed 2016 if someone could confirm Hopefully this will give great advise to others going for the first time this year and in the future.

You can remove the front bumper and just rest it on the floor still leaving the headlight washer hoses attached. There is about a foot of play so if you get someone to help you can get to bottom of what issue is. Only one of mine works properly. The other like yours leaves a pool of screenwash on floor but like everyone else i dont actually use them or want to use them and at the minute i'd get more help out of the cat than the other half so will just leave it be.
