  1. I want the Ford Capri and Cortina back
  2. I use GWR for all my stainless. There's loads of suppliers on ebay. Are you searching for coloured bolts, or anodised bolts? better results with the latter.
  3. Friend had an Evo VII. She was either always standing on a forecourt filling it up, or booking it into a garage getting it serviced. You think Zeds drink? You've seen nothing until you've experience an Evo. Fun cars, but highly strung, and high maintenance. Bit like her really lol. She sold it and got an RS.
  4. It's the buyers fault. You have a choice to pay by Debit/Credit card, or from your bank. If he chose bank, it goes as an echeque and takes 5 days. It's a pain in the arse for the seller, but a good stall tactic for the seller if they haven't got the money in the bank yet (Payday)
  5. Used to be the Z until a couple of weeks ago. Selling that. Bought a £300 1.2 Corsa, and I love it. Plod along...no on tail gates me, no one looking for a race. I'm completely invisible. And I can now park anywhere in any car park. Cheap as hell to run. 100 miles on a tenner. Sell the Z, get a bike and a Landy.
  6. I wouldn't send the item if payment was pending either. Someone bought an exhaust off my son a few weeks ago, and that payment was pending. Took 5 days to clear. Then the item was sent. It's not the sellers fault.
  7. I did the same on a Talbot Sunbeam engine I stripped down. It had absolutely zero effect on the piston crowns and valve heads. That's why I categorise it as snake oil.
  8. He actually let it go to court? What a muppet. Slam dunk
  9. Redex...just don't. I'm not a big fan of snake oil, least of all Redex. But if you absolutely have to, then buy Wynns. I know from experience that at least some of their products work. Like valve seal reconditioner and stop oil leak on previous cars.
  10. Looks a good job. I just bought some Simoniz wax (Gold can). It's like trying to put butter on a bap, straight from the fridge. And then trying to remove it again. Utter crap.
  11. Easier to get your mobile number and DoB. They can really fleece you then when they PAC your number over to a new SIM. If you want higher security. Don't use online banking in any form and don't use a debit card. Simple.
  12. A taste of the future, if Corbyn ever gets in power. Returning power back to the Unions, and allowing them to hold the country to ransom. Best thing Thatcher ever did was castrating them.
  13. Why don't they just use Sodium Chlorate on it. Pretty much kills any kind of foliage.
  14. Ah ok, lives in my area I think. Under his spoiler was filthy.
  15. I used to work for a Volvo Dealership. It was pretty common for the mechanics to take the cars for a joy ride. Never really an issue until they launched the T5 because the previous Volvos were @*!# slow boxes.
  16. Deeside on Monday. Silver with a kit on. Looked good, albeit badly in need of a clean. A most unfortunate reg number. Time to get a private plate me thinks I was undercover in the works VW Golf.
  17. 900 on a Clio. How old are you, 9? Price comparison is your best bet. What's competetive for me, may be sky high for you, and visa versa.
  18. Such an awesome atmospheric game. Loved it on the PS3
  19. Drive drive drive. It's a Nissan, not a Shelby Daytona.
  20. Go with Plusnet, not BT or Sky, when you finally have option. I'm what you would call an ultra heavy user. Appx 1.5TB of data a month. I run a couple of servers...and other stuff. They don't bat an eyelid. Solid connection. And fast. Way better pricing than any other (good) provider. I wouldn't touch Virgin. They're throttle happy. They hate people like me anyway.

  22. You could say that about the phone though And energy. Technically, we're still in the steam age, despite our fancy nuclear reactors. We haven't made a leap away from it since the late 17th century, when we came up with the idea of steam power. We've just discovered better ways to generate steam.
  23. My 06 is due it's 5k oil change now. Checked today and it looks like it's burnt maybe 600cc of oil. About 8mm below the Max line. Weird how some burn oil, and others don't.
