  1. He'd refund and cut his losses if he was smart.
  2. It's human nature. You post a video of you making a mistake and crashing...you'll get sympathy, and "you live and learn dude" Piers Morgan does it "lol, nob" I'm comfortable with that double standard.
  3. Congratulations! Frame it for sure
  4. I can only speak for myself. I really don't care. MPG will never be a factor in my purchasing decision. I ran a military Series 3 Land Rover for a few years as my daily. I used to get about 14 icebergs per mile in that thing.
  5. I really need to get a V8. It's been on my bucket list since I was 8. Prefer American V8's though. They sound awesome, albeit slow.
  6. Pic 2 - Looks like it;s failed or failing. That's where mine eventually split. I'd be looking to replace soon. And yeah, original
  7. Very nice Zed dude My reaction to road-rage/racers/morons in general is to pull over to the hard shoulder/road side, and let the problem drive off into the distance. Let someone else deal with him/her EDIT: I had an experience in Manchester about 3 years ago, in the middle of the night. I came across this insanely complex roundabout, and I made a right pigs ear of navigating it. Luckily only one guy was around, and unfortunately I cut him up driving right across multiple lanes. He pulled up alongside fuming and raging. I apologised, said totally my fault, but I'm totally lost and this roundabout is insane. He totally calmed down, agreed, got out, came over and drew me some directions to Bury lol
  8. I agree with you, but autonomy is coming even without EVs. Not if people don't buy them. So don't buy one Supply and demand.
  9. That actually surprises me tbh. Radio 1 morning DJ (since 2012), was a host on the X-Factor, oh and a generally annoying celebrity basically. More of a Radio 2 and Radio 4 guy really. And no TV here
  10. Anyone who buys a Tesla on green credentials nees their head checking. The amount of resources and energy consumed to produce something like a Model X must be mind boggling. I certainly aren't buying one because they are 'green', show me a combustion engine that can deliver the same instant throttle response for the same type of economy and ill look again. The combustion engine really is outdated tech in this day and age. Within a few years virtually all the major manufacturers will be shifting to EVs, like it or not. I don't buy cars based on economy or 0-60. And one has to wonder why you're on a Zed forum even raising the subject of economy. You're like the only Windows guy on a Linux forum. Lets be honest, the rise of the EV, as you call them, is the death knell of independent motoring. They'll eventually perfect self driving, remove the steering wheel, and, looking further ahead, they may even legislate the real cars off the road in my lifetime. And it'll be done under the banner of environmentalism and road safety and eliminating illegal practices in cars; speeding, lane hogging, etc, etc. Gone will be going out for a drive. You'll be going out to be driven. I can't think of anything more boring than being a passenger in, or owning a box with no user serviceable parts. Keep your Hotpoint mate, I'll keep my V6.
  11. Personally, I can only imagine what Bullit would have been like if it was filmed using Teslas Electric cars are the death of real motoring, and the birth of utilitarianism eco-warriorism championed by cardigan wearing neck beards who hang out in Starbucks with their mac book pros.
  12. I've seen offroaders travelling at 1mph, crawling over mounds or rocks, flip their vehicles. So It's possible he's a bit of a 'tard who lost control of his chelsea tractor on nice smooth tarmac and flipped it. Never heard of him though.
  13. 6: Lay off the meter readers and make more profit. 7: When everyone has been lured into having one, the prices will go up to pre-smart meter levels, and some. http://www.thisismon...-need-most.html
  14. Swear more! And why do you have vaseline handy?
  15. What Ekona said. You can get the same year for 5k with no Cat record.
  16. Be good to get a dyno before doing it. Rules out placebo effects.
  17. Can't believe they wrote it off, doesn't look too bad.
  18. Tesla could develop the Pinto reputation if they don't resolve it soon.
  19. I honestly wouldn't be overly bothered, certainly not enough to plaster my face all over a National newspaper, but I'm fairly pragmatic about most problems. Selling a Porsche with over 110k on the clock would be really hard...nigh on impossible for £26k lol Now he can buy one with 50k miles for 12k.
  20. Ha, I do that with all my cars
  21. Exactly. I'd take Hi Res pics of each panel before wrapping. If you ever sell, someone might think you're hiding a disaster under there.
  22. Whats the quote? I'm around the corner from those guys. £1400 for a complete wrap ! Not too bad really considering the cost of a respray.
  23. Whats the quote? I'm around the corner from those guys.
  24. Do want one of these. Can't help thinking they're going to clamp down on them in some way fairly soon. As usual, some people are being absolute dicks with them. I heard that someone flew one inside an airline corridor last week or so - a plane narrowly missed it.
