Slightly OT but can you get just the tips for these? My HR came with a gemini, but I'm not a massive fan of the tips - would rather the slash cut single layer titanium.

Friday lunch/early afternoon I'd go to arnage, usually good fun at the pubs and plenty of good cars to look at. Head into le mans town on Friday afternoon/evening for the drivers parade and stay on for some beers and dinner. You'll be too hungover for anything Saturday morning, so get in a decent spot for the race start!

It'd be a cracking do. Would need a decent bit of planning to get the good sites etc, especially as you haven't been before. Le Mans town is a fairly easy tram ride and plenty of stuff there.

Do you mean the banana arm bush? A local garage to me (who knows what he's doing) has that job down to 45 mins, so I'd guess £50

Quite - I presume the stillen Y pipe is the same story?

Shame about the rust - but I guess with HR it's less likely to have set in yet so prevention methods might have a chance. By similar, I presume you are referring to different mounts or something? My thoughts were essentially, will my DE decat system (decats, stillen Y pipe, scorpion exhaust) fit? Seems like only the scorpion element will?

Just doing some research into HR v DE... I know all of the obvious stuff - engine, bonnnet, revs, lights, interior - but is everything else interchangable? ie will DE brakes pads and discs fit straight on, will an exhaust from a mani-back DE fit on an HR? Also, does an HR have any advantages in terms of rust, other than being newer? I know for the DE the double skinned rear arches attract rust like there's no tomorrow, but does the HR improve on this design?

Nope

The bottom (near pits) was really wet and greasy. Coming round woodcote was greasy af, straightened out and it looked a lot drier, so put power down (evidently too much for the conditions, my lack of experience showing). Hit another really greasy patch at that point and back end let go and round we went into the wall. Anywhere else I'd have gone into gravel. Nothing to do with other cars (I was first in the pack, which probably didn't help), just @*!# conditions on the track and me putting a bit too much right foot down. Car's pretty much a gonner I think. Rear impact structure has gone into the boot back and floor, crumpling that up and both rear quarter panels have ripples down them. Front hub actually sheared too! I'm no expert at bodywork, but the ripples in the panels and bends in the boot tell me it's game over.
