  1. Ask them why it doesn't have one? Mine didn't either (wasn't new to me though), I just soldered them onto the appropriate wires. Don't use scotch locks, they're the devil's work
  2. I'd just get the kit from incartec.co.uk, think it's about £50 and includes all the looms and the fascia
  3. Yes it's still money, but £25 is fairly immaterial and the bloke is almost certainly going to do a better job. And £20 is definitely worth it to save me the time alone. But I get your point.
  4. The will would be a good place to start... Does sound like your aunt might be playing you a bit though. Is the money definintely in the account?
  5. Chips irritate me so I'd replace it myself. Either way I wouldn't bother doing anything yourself - it's only going to be max £25 to get a chip repaired, so what's the point?
  6. I managed to convince you then! definitely get at least 15mm for the front
  7. Engine is still in the car! It'd be cheaper as someone could remove it for me Or you could buy the whole thing: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/109602-for-spares-or-repairs-2003-black-de/
  8. Shame you're so far away, would be welcome to take mine for far less than anyone else is charging. Not refurbed mind
  9. I might be taking my redundant HR one out at some point, so you could probably fit that if you wanted to put the effort in (I have no idea if the loom is easily removable mind) As for just fitting the buttons, I doubt you could. I still think you're better off putting a proper sat nav head unit in.
  10. They are a requirement, but as mentioned, they can't fine you for not having one, so effectively not required. Typical French, but for once, not complaining. One less thing to buy
  11. It's a common issue on old Zs. New bushes are about £20-£30 each and a decent knowledgeable garage would do it in an hour (although I bet most will say 3)
  12. Just rip it out and put a tablet in, or a sat nav, or replace the hopeless radio with a proper headunit with built in sat nav. My HR has built in sat nav and it is a lot better than the one in the DE, but I still don't use it as the one on the head unit (or indeed google maps on the phone) is much better
  13. Thye came off Rays so yes they fit them Stevo - I'll think about it.. Where abouts are you?
  14. I've just watched battlebots on YouTube too, and it's essentially robot wars to the extreme. Much better rules (ie almost anything goes) and there is so much more damage with the various flails/rotating barrels. And I really like the robot 'complete control'. Watch the battle against bombshell. Cc eventually grabs it and then roasts it to f*** with an insane flamethrower. Hopefully the new robot wars will be similar
  15. Immaculate, nothing wrong with the interior at all, even where the airbag went off
  16. Yes, it did ruin Japfest a bit! Still, got a nice HR out of it, so there's always a silver lining
