  1. Got a growing pile in the corner of the room that the wife hasn't noticed yet waiting to be fitted. All delivered quickly at a great price and with updates every step of the way and lots of useful advice
  2. Test drove a few of these, from the surprisingly gutsy 1.4 to the 2.0TDi was on the verge of upgrading my mk1 Leon FR tdi to the Cupra or a tdi FR Lovely machine to drive, little bit different on the styling to the golf/a3 which I preferred, lots of gadgets, the DSG is fantastic and they get great economy, really can't rate them highly enough. Had i not had the short commute i'd have got the tdi, as it was I opted for the Cupra 280, then VW made me an offer i couldn't refuse on an R
  3. You'd be putting the roof up pretty quick and checking your fuel gauge if you saw some of these:
  4. When you plug the disk in, does it come up as blank? unrecognised? unreadable? Personally i recommend recuva for memory cards
  5. You'd have to be a right arse to do this, and the police with any luck would point out that the chap has apologised and made good. Think his Wife isn't teaching him a lesson?
  6. Jump into an avoidable fight you'll never win against overwhelming odds and get your ass kicked, lose your battle and your lives?
  7. Sure there's a video Pull some trim down, undo 4 screws, undo a few bolts, lift off unclip. Took me 10 mins tops
  8. Interesting..Why? - I fancy both the Z & R, for different reasons, however performance being the common element - Just what exactly would pull you out the R and into the Z? - Other than looks & sound..talking purely as a performance car for the road - what other choices are there with better power / weigh / £ than the Z as practical everyday car? Why smiles per miles for the Zed? Wel, some comparing apples and oranges... (power figures are the only thing these two have in common) The R on paper is freaking awesome, it's fast as **** off the line, rolls round to the end of the clock very quickly and it has insane amounts of grip whilst still getting ~37mpg. And it is an awesome piece of kit. Just I find it a bit staid. The abundance of grip and power means driving fast on a B road isn't an art, just a case of point and squirt. I know i can throw it into a corner at stupid speed and it will grip and pull through with utterly no drama. For most that would be fantastic, and it was for me, for a few months. But the Zed is something else, it's a bit more involved and the feedback from pushing on along nice roads feels nicer plus the knowledge that if i get it wrong, there's no supercomputers and trick haldex setup to save me, a bad driver in an R is going to be able to go quick, a bad driver in a Z is going through a hedge So yeah, if i want to go flat out fast i'd jump in the Golf, but if i want enjoyment and feedback, it's the Z all the way.
  9. My Daily is a Golf R, runs rings around the Z all day, top end, acceleration, economy and handling, no contest the Golf wins them all. Smiles per miles, well that's got to go to the Zed
  10. That's nice and all adrian, but i'm sure you promised launch at 1000 items
  11. Got annoyed with the bugs in project cars, playing loads of ark: survival evolved. DayZ meets Minecraft meets Jurrasic Park
  12. Daily or fun? Daily, RS4, will get the job done day in day out without any complaints tons of grip and grunt but not much excitement ime. for fun, the M3 is going to be more fun and rewarding giving it beans If it was my money, RS4 everyday. P.S i think the C63 sounds horrific, I don't want the Somme being replayed out of my exhaust when i change gear every single time.
  13. yeah been broken a few hours, wanted my daily dose of torqen temptation
  14. Aye, it's nice when there's a few in there but hard because the 5 person limit, tho it does need to be used more
  15. Yeah bit of a shame, all looked a bit awkward tbh
  16. My 350 had it's first ever MOT this week, wandered down "how bad is it?" expecting some advisories. my Mechanic is 'do you really want to know?' cue thoughts of "oh god i've bought a lemon" Hands me a completely clean bill of health
