I recently had a similar discussion with VWFS, originally i wasn't going to buy the car, so rang up to add extra miles (only 12k miles over in 2 years lol) but have since decided I want to buy the car, final payment will take into account the fact i've paid extra for more miles. However if you've already decided i wouldn't bother as others have said.

Good choice. Welcome to the club! Are you on mustang6g.com? Check out the UK section I'm not yet, I looked previously and it seemed quite busy and harder to read, tho now i want to change a few bits I might sign up for some info

12 Months? I got quoted 7 last month when i ordered mine, although I pushed that back till April for tax reasons. Sod the Focus, not that much of a jump above the Golf R (R is probably the better daily) imho get the Mustang Unless you need to transport passengers in which case get something else as the rear seat is a joke

Cars been parked up for a few months, got it running today and played around a bit, 'gate' looks correct, and if i match the revs 6 slots in perfectly, so i'm guessing syncros failure. new box time?

We gonna see it launch this side of Christmas?

I got the impression from a few reports that the "safety features" in question was ESP. Like that would've been turned on anyways...

Only edible when drunk, that point where you think "yeah, mixed meat kebab on salad with garlic sauce and extra chillis" is a good idea, is about 20 mins after you should've stopped drinking

Wading in late here, My daily is a golf R and yes it's powerful, it's fast, it's fun off the line and can embarrass much more exotic machinery (to 60/80 at best). You can throw it into a corner and know the car will save your ass with the ridiculous grip and Deep Blue stored under the bonnet. As with all these new hot hatches, the R can be fun, if you're wanting GTR esque performance and ton of computers to save your life if you do something silly, automatic this, assisted that. Whilst it may be much faster than the Z it's not as satisfying and fun as the Z with it's lack of assists and gadgets.

What the hell is wrong with The World? (Disturbing content)

Ah yes, take a photo and tweet it. That's really going to save lives and change governments minds, about as much as liking a photo on facebook. -
