  1. ^ agreed - sticking to the one dyno outfit is categorically the best practice for keeping track of health/gains from engine mods. Using different rolling roads is ok purely for fun and/or comparisons with other cars on the day, ie rolling road meet or car shows.
  2. Bladdy HELL!! thats some convoy lad, next level #gumballstyle tbf 20mins in a sodi kart makes a Zed feel heavy and slow, but its not really.
  3. Not even a rough guide, as in the same day you could go to three different dyno's and get very varied figures. Not so much of an issue for those BIG power cars as 600bhp or 620bhp isn't going to loose anyone sleep lol 275bhp to 295bhp for example possibly could - my 2c
  4. Stunning pictures pal, thanx for sharing - come and say hey next time for sure.
  5. Can't compare figures from two different dyno's
  6. Place this on your plenum before the next run
  7. In all honesty number chasing is never a good idea as it tells very little about how quick a car is in real world terms. As long as the torque delivery is smooth that's more important for an engine than peak power for a split second. Remember on a track Sabine would make mince meat of any of us in a factory standard Zed compared to normal folk in a lightly modded one, point is enjoy the motor
  8. Lovely motor pal, saw it Sunday. Hhhmmm lightweight crack pulley bigger throttle body? You'd probably get 300bhp+ on a dynojet and from my understanding JPS read low for figures full bolt on DC5 made 226bhp and our red DE on display made 262bhp iirc (not standard car)
  9. Stunning motor, well loved example too. Great ad also, rare in red sadly
  10. no, more air IS actually passing thru the engine with bolt on's ie air filter, plenum spacer, hfc or decats and exhaust system.
  11. other Zeds on the day............ Zed elite pop that hood girl!!! fresh from rolling road.... FYD and wow
  12. Our show highlights with full album link shown below http://s77.photobuck...6?sort=2&page=1 david
  13. What work is carried out from the engine bay/top side?
  14. yes can still go on either side of the vehicle as the tyres are classed as asymmetrical visually you'd think both of those tyres would clear water better being on the drivers side.
  15. all for a few bhp LOL
  16. This was looking fresh at JPS the weekend pal, VERY clean
  17. Yea i was suffering majorly too in the main hall, flood lights, bright floors and black walls LOL lens didnt know if it was comng or going haha

  20. that i think wraps it up for now, il be looking to head straight there for 8:30 - 8:45
  21. not called single mass really, but solid flywheel
  22. ive heard one on youtube, didnt sound that good tbf.............
  23. If you cant get insurance for a modded vehicle then 'you bought the car like that and thought the exhaust was standard'. Going forward exhaust, filter, lowering springs ie visible additions need to be declared imho. Plenum spacer, headers, cams, pulleys, remap arent even seen easily with the bonnet up so............
