  1. 41k is very low mileage, looks a great buy - welkom
  2. Agreed with way better positioning too
  3. Please delete if not allowed however I thought this might be of interest to members looking for big spec Evo or something similar. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/142157529125 David
  4. Zed tyres yO! These Avon's are meant to be decent
  5. I don't get why folks think the 350z is heavy, its no Elise for sure. Its no heavier than the same year M3 and that's not thought to be a super heavy car....
  6. Saw this beautiful grey facelift 350z today around 12:35 Cov Rd heading thru Sheldon, you passed me in the Sunny
  7. Few year back i was a member of an ireland Nissan group manly for sourcing Pulsar VZR bits, another car ideally meant to run on super unleaded with no major issues being run on 95ron. Didnt come across any horror stories regarding the 350z either, only issue with the little 1600cc was that most cars didnt make book figure for bhp and tbf it was the same in the uk. Not for a second saying to use 95ron all the while, which i never have but i dont think its the be all and end all if you get caught out.
  8. Do all VQ35's let go over in Ireland where super unleaded is tough to find? No
  9. I like having the option to swap, I do miss the VQ35 roar with the open filter mind
  10. I dont want the hardpipe intake and cone filter getting dirty
  11. Low coolant level or air lock in the system if the fans are working? Do the radiator fans work when you turn on the A/C?
  12. Gone back to OE air box for the winter boo
  13. Ten sec dead 1/4 mile, madness. Would hold a McLaren P1 to the line WOW
  14. It'll show power figures in both horse power and torque to the wheels, the computer will then use a calculation to work out the vehicles estimated power at the flywheel. Be advised the same car with 295bhp and 260whp is quicker than a car 305bhp and 250whp *tested on the same day, at the same dyno. You'll also see the air fuel ratio which is handy too. Even returning back to the same dyno isn't an exact science as dyno setup can change from time to time. If a well maintained fairly new standard car goes on a rolling road and produces near to standard power, this dyno with the current setup is as close to accurate as you're going to get other than an engine dyno. Either way its all good fun
  15. Course it's genuine, but is this the cat D one?
  16. hhhmmm sneaky possibly the lamp has been modified previously allowing the early Z33 plug to fit directly.
  17. Beautiful, also its grey not silver 286bhp prior to remap, wow these engine do respond decent to breather mods!! Any more plans? David
  18. Cheers chap, springs have been on for circa 8 months and are fabulous - just right for a daily driver. Sourced separately from two cars breakers online in an attempt to reduce costs, always a gamble but worked out well in the end *single box as i used it to store the one lamp until i found another. Early model 350z rear connectors needed modifying to accept the facelift lamps, i choose to modify these rather than the lamps. The upgrade also provided an opportunity for cleaning #yuk To this Chrome indicator bulbs while access was granted made sense also. Before After hhhhmmmmm LED's Rear view before and after Looking through the service book, every March is her annual service and even though the supplying garage did an oil change prior to the sale i wanted to of course keep the service history bang up to date. Reading thought prior invoices, the previous owner as part of a major service when he first had the car paid £95 for plugs to be fitted of which £70 were parts. Decent plugs then and only 36 months ago, however then 24 months later had the plugs replaced again - of which each plug was £7 A) cheap nasty plugs for a VQ35 they didnt need changing anyways. So Hybrid P2 service with oil, oil & air filters, plugs and differential oil change (went back to OE airbox at this stage, and came off the following weekend as the engine lost all its growl) yuk!! hhmmmmm fresh as suspected, well not cheap but i only deal in NGK clearly only been in the motor not very many miles either. Also popping a few brave pills i opted to clean out the throttle body, yes i touched the butterfly good job too, yuk!!! clearly this had NEVER been cleaned before. O/S bank All serviced up and looking not very presentable, but i can see to that later. Time for a bath
