  1. Im also a dad with two little girls, Mrs has a Nissan Note and it does the job perfectly. Then also couple time a year holiday down Cornwall and the single track *2 way lanes as dealt with very well as the car is so narrow. Great visibility and super easy to park, an SUV in part would be a nightmare on some of the lanes with a vehicle trying to pass while im parked half in a bush. Just no need right now for anything super big, pretty most dads on here would sing the same tune also.
  2. Truly bad ass 350z!!! Next level
  3. Stunning car, would so love one. Why not photo your own car for the interior?
  4. Lovely progress so far, always liked silver cars with black wheels
  5. Going a little bit of topic here but stay with me. The Germans build cars incredibly efficiently, same platform different body with shared engines throughout the company. Ability to produce loads of cars quickly and very cost effective. However you loose the special aspect of a car and zap character. The Japanese car culture up until late as we all know key focus is around character and innovation hell they even give cars a face in the design. The gt86 has been such a massive hit for the two companies not because of POWER or lap times or scope for massive power gains, but due to individuality balance and fun. My good friend works for VAG hq in Milton Keynes, with meetings about product line and there is one layout of car they don't have on their books, no prizes for guess what - front engined rwd pure sports car.
  6. Rolling shot for reference, standard tyres on RAYS, Tein springs with 20/15mm spacers.
  7. There's a thread on a NSX forum asking why does the 350z sound so good haha. This side of a V8, I really don't think you can beat it.
  8. Our resident purple rocky bunny 350z owner made the same move, iirc said nice car but never really felt special being tuned version of a boring saloon car.
  9. Be sure to get the damper adjustment extenders also for the rears. Yes right height adjusted from the springs rear, not dampers as per the front. Also had a set of MeisterR from Jerrick on a previous car *Almera GTi - loved em.
  10. That morning circa 10mins before the above incident, I had pulled into the BP garage on the island for fuel as was going on track later that morning. Saw the young couple at the till shaking and thought hhhmmmm oh not what's happen???, left the forecourt and saw the aftermath
  11. If I had the money spare * nice thought ay id LOVE a RC F. Tones of better cars out there for the money and less, but for me 'better' doesn't always mean better. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201701281764668?radius=1500&sort=price-asc&postcode=b330xj&model=RC%20F&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&make=LEXUS&page=1
  12. This is how mine sits on Tein springs, yes the front is a tad lower but without concern.
  13. Because sadly a downgrade for all UKDM 350z........
  14. My short video of the morning, absolutely amazing cars - enjoyed it.
  15. ^ yes the biggest one in the UK *not hard to guess lol Charge for fuel send the request on 1 link
  16. I often book hire cars for our lease car drivers whilst their vehicle is in for mechanical repairs. You have some excutive car drivers that are happy to use a Focus or Golf while the A8 or XJ is in for repair for a couple days. Then you have those that demand the hire is like for like. My lease car has sat nav, dual clutch, birds view camera and heated seats/steering wheel - I need a rental with the same spec!!! Yes ideally same spec would be nice however in the short term it's not going to kill you #behumble
  17. Haha I know, me and Ian went the long way from the show to the motorway again eek
  18. Following on from the air con bomb thread, the item came next day so read the distructions and chucked it in. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/117032-air-con-bomb-cleaner/#entry1738967 Keen for the aerosol not to fall over mid treatment, an old K Swiss stepped up.
  19. Not updated the tread for a good while and to merely keep a record of ownership progression. Lovely granny seat covers, which I adore. Keeps the seats cool in the summer and warm in the winter, less sliding around on track and best of all minimal wear from getting in and out. Just the other evening decided to tackle a job I had been putting off for weeks. Ending up dropping the wheel arch liners down and found the repair ott but straight forward at least. Great spot for wheel nuts too I found. Car show pictures: David
  20. Recently bought this for the Mrs car and it's great, would recommend. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01E04F7N6/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  21. Oh the noise from these engines, thrown on a induction kit of sort and the motor sings. Imo these sound way better than a similar year 911 or M3 with ease.
