  1. One of the most odd tread patterns ever in my opinion, at a glance they look directional however they're not. Very much looks like they would shift standing water better one way than the other, they confuse me always have lol
  2. I don't think so but get good reviews on other car forums
  3. We want wheels, we want wheels!!!
  4. What I bought for my Varrstoen 73.1mm to 66.1mm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162546259099
  5. That was only for a few miles on a dual carriageway driving with super light throttle.
  6. Wow, coming together amazing!!! Great use of covid time, love it all. Hit up @Charlie Boy as he has a LS also in his 350z if you need any tips or links.
  7. I like them................... on other folks cars
  8. Will be using it to pre soak the panel before washing with ONR, help lift the dirt prior to contact. Will be strange to wash a car without suds or a hose, but possibly a hose pipe band is coming as it's been so dry since the end of March so let's get ahead of the curve.
  9. Nice one fella, so x5 caps in my 20lts Bal bucket. What about ratio for pre wash 1ltr spray bottle? Is that more towards clay lube rather than qd ratio.....
  10. Its only took an international pandemic, but after many many years its time to put on my big boy pants and be brave!!! I make it 15ml (one cap) per litre dilution for a pre wash spray bottle? Any tips from users would be appreciated, as it's very much uncharted territory.
  11. Few low lighy pictures from an impromptu drive out to Nottingham recently. The lack of traffic did wonders for the mpg also
  12. Looks grand, I reckon a pair of carbon mirror caps maybe now
  13. In the way that user would prefer to use the product, wet spread due to the reasons mentioned by myself, Lewis and in the detailing world thread - meguiars hybrid spray sealant won that test. Granted it isn't the way that the manufacturer advises to use it.
  14. I will just say hands up or not, which they are (due to stalemate) I was going off a detailing world official forum testers that has used the product in many different applications and found that spreading the product not only used less but achieved best results as did most regular users of the product. Other than your word, still no demonstrated working example of spreading the product on a wet panel being detrimental to longevity. Not once have I said applying dry is a good idea and even the videos says it isn't however was answering a question towards this poor method. https://detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=410702 Ive neither purchased megs or gyeon wet spray sealants, so don't feel passionate towards either. Personally Im much more concerned towards users real world best usage of any given product, rather than the manufacturer label. If both methods happen to coincide, fab - if not that's life. How often do we hear of a manufacturer releasing a product, listening to user feedback and adjusting the product accordingly. This is common place and appears correct to do. Meaning it isn't a given that the label is always best practice. From the detailing world thread it would appear most uses that had posted preference is the wet spread, which makes sense given the product usage and coverage. Shall we all get back to topping up our lockdown tans?
  15. I really need to use Turtlewax hybrid sealant more!!! Going to start using Fusso speed and see how I get on. How was wet coat applied wrong? It was applied wet and spread over the panel! Present tested evidence that this application is detrimental to its performance. Happy to hold my hands up, however until then you are clutching at straws with your argument.
  16. Meguiar's appeared to win both dry and wet applications....... Edit Wet coat applied both dry and wet. Unless you've performed the same test and had different results, the conclusion remains the same.
  17. Some folks says yes, others say no. Best to have a drive if both and see what you think. Characteristics of the two engine is different too, HR is more rev happy with an extra 1000rpm to use.
  18. For that budget, I'd recent aiming for a good early model GT 03-05 rather than a tired later model HR 07-09.
  19. I personally have seen no evidence that the product was hamstrung in the application shown in the video. See the post below from a member of the detailing world review team with many thousands of thanks and many pages of official forum reviews......
  20. Only thing I will say is Meguiar's state for first application that it's to be applied in the way shown in the video, so for a fair side by side both products were tested in exactly the same way and the cheaper product came out on top.
