  1. First sensible person I have come across on this topic. Its a very different way of living out in SA versus here.... Though I doubt he will see the inside of a general prison for that long, he will claim disability (even though he claimed the opposite for the Olympics).
  2. I feel like that every time I drive mine Owned for more than 3 years (all time ownership record for me) and no interest in selling. 600hp, suspension, brake and exterior mods. On track, its fantastic!!! Need to sort a proper trans cooler for mine.... go for it...... you know you want to Depends what you like. I like being able to drive to/from the track in comfort, music on, heated seats, etc. The atom looks like great fun and I do have it on my list of cars to own, but its a 3rd or 4th car. Im liking the boot Sorry, but you dont buy a GTR for the interior.... honestly, I dont think they are that bad (come from an Impreza background).
  3. As Keyser says the FD will remain the same but if anyone is interested in a different one let me know we can offer a few options. 1.5 sounds perfect then Interested to know more........... about the FD changes that are available
  4. Im in....... just, whats the difference between 1.5 and 2 way?
  5. I have had one of those hernias and if it is that, get your ass to the doctor!! My doctor (family doctor for 15 years) actually swore at me for leaving it so long. The difference of a few weeks is the difference between prescription and a surgical fix. I ended up having to have the surgery (not keyhole) and took me 6 weeks before I was reasonably comfortable, 6 months before range of motion came back. Still hurts now and then......... if you can get away without the surgery DO IT!!!! On a slightly lighter note, can I have the spare one when you are done with everything seriously!
  6. It is technically on the straight, but judging by the big corner just before that............ I HAVE NO IDEA!!!! Lift-off oversteer surprised the hell out of them - my best guess
  7. Damn, cant believe I missed the track day next one Car looks interesting!
  8. Well the white one is nearing mechanical completion, it will then be MOTd and then over the winter the bodywork and interior bits will be finished off. I am now starting to look at options RE the bodywork and bad repairs on the blue car, just not sure who to go to for the work. Car is currently in Kent with Sly and I am near Redhill. I have emailed Morley Auto Services, but any one know of any good bodywork specialists in the area? Hopefully not too expensive either..... dont mind them taking a long time
  9. Its a great project and progressing so well! 350z conversion is an interesting one, purely because of how far back the engine sits, IE behind the front struts. However, I am with you on the sympathetic restoration. Hope to have one soon, just have a few other projects I need to finish first. Good luck and keep the updates coming, loving the detail!
  10. Any pictures of them on the 350? Do they fit flush with the arches or do they still require spacers? Where are you based?
  11. You 2 look very close, happy and very in much in love in there.......
  12. In for the updates.... been thinking about doing something like this for ages!! Got to see the end result...
  13. PMd - how old are the wheels? Im interested....
  14. lovely noise!!! the rear spoiler needs to be a fair bit wider on either side, looks like it shrunk in the wash!
  15. theres a few, not many at all, difficult to setup and get running properly
  16. Thats what I am hoping!! Would love to do both, but I currently have 3 project cars and 1 escort is enough.
  17. I can confirm that after a fuel flush, the blue escort started!! Ideally looking to sell this as a running, rolling project, so if anyone is interested in the blue one, let me know
  18. good to know, thanks... my car is not dedicated to drift, so dont want to screw up the car
  19. Does this change any of the normal driving dynamics on the road (up to motorway speeds)?
  20. Clark Motorsport is about to run a group buy on a LSD diff
  21. Just wondering if you know, will this fit onto a 2002 model? I have a Cobra catback exhaust...
  22. I find that odd.... Ryan mapped my old supra on a LINK ecu and it was rather good! He has since mapped my GTR and its a beast! Charlie and Ryan work together on Syvecs, dont they?
