1. With regards to paints in hotter temperature environments you can get HT & VHT paint (High Temp & Very High Temp) which can cope with hotter temperatures under the bonnet. If the Chrome has come off your Nissan badge then you ideally should remove it all off before you paint it especially if it's a big chip as it will show up after painting. You could just try sanding the effected area until you can't feel any step and it is smooth but the difference between a chromed surface and the non chromed surface may cause a different finish to the paint finish after spraying. For the sake of an extra 10 minutes with some sand paper (or a Dremel with a wire brush attachment) I'd just try & removed all the chrome if I was you.
2. Welcome aboard and good luck with your search. I'd change that avatar though ~ nothing against Cats, ..but Nazis yes.
3. ^^ 12 Years worth of great experiences with it though I'd bet.
4. Sorry to read about your Zed breaking down nowhereboy. That sucks.

Toyota FP-1

Look's ok I suppose.
6. So do you actually ride it or just look at it?. Awesome work.
7. ^^ Probably wouldn't taste much worse than there chicken though.
8. Just fitted a Stillen Air Induction kit from Tarmac Sportz. Took me awhile to fit as I went on a cleaning frenzy first and after I had finished fitting the kit I realized on closing the bonnet that it was sitting too high. Doh. One hour passes, lot's of swearing & several cigarettes later it was fitted properly this time. Only been out for a short drive just to check there where no issues but so far I'm happy.
9. Not a bike fan but that does look cool ~ the girl though is a stunner.
10. Another thank you to Chris ~ parcel received today and Stillen fitted this evening. Great service again.
11. Just sent payment Doogy with address details/forum name etc. Can't wait to have my first 350Z calendar, ...even if my cars not in it.
12. If you get it for £6.5K I'll be surprised tbh but it never hurts to start with a low offer and then barter up till you reach something you're both happy with.I would have thought cheapest you may get it is around £7-7.5K but still doesn't sound like a bad buy for a good condition FSH Zed of that year & those miles.
13. Great build thread Jp606. Zed look's great and some really good sensible mods. Subscribed.
14. Great news ~ two Zeds are always better than one.

16. Watching some of these earlier ~ it's a bit hit & miss at times but very funny in places never the less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-CGH052TnM[/url Add any you've seen that you want to.
17. Happy days. Glad you sorted your problem so easily.
18. ^^ Nice & simple mod but should help stop any tyre rubbing.
19. Not always about bhp bragging rights is it. Sometimes an ok car to drive can be made into a great car to drive with just a nice sound from an exhaust & CAI kit.
20. You and me both. Looking forward to some more pics Zhorno.
21. That's disappointing as it looked so good from the rear.
22. Hello & welcome aboard. Seems like most questions have been answered but; 3. Heated seats have two settings ~ HIGH does back & base of seat ~ LOW does just the base. (Just noticed FloydBax answered that) 4. As Commander mentioned all Zed handbrakes are high up ~ best left in gear though when you park just to be safe. 7. The miniature tray you mentioned is supposed to be a business card holder from what I've read ~ I believe you can get a cup holder to fit there and just swap them around as it's more useful.
