Find a car on ebay that will make us laugh

Because they thought it would look good. Not to my taste either but some people marry some ugly birds if you get my drift. -
Good luck and hope you enjoy the 370Z. Nice modern upgrade.

Definitely recommend a set of carbon fibre bonnet lifters/struts from 14N. Mine came with blue stickers on them too which keep in your colour scheme. Check them out here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79733-fs-i-have-some-more-350z-carbon-bonnet-dampers-75-deliv/

For doing metal items I will only ever use one primer as it's the best I've used & never had any problems with it. They also do lot's of normal paint colours and there clear lacquer is great too. Hycote grey metal/plastic primer; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hycote-Grey-Primer-Car-Van-Spray-Paint-400ml-/170769436948?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item27c2a6d114 Hycote white primer; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYCOTE-WHITE-PRIMER-ACRYLIC-SPRAY-PAINT-400ML-/181273762733?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item2a34c21bad Hycote lacquer; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hycote-Clear-Lacquer-UK0232-400ml-/370744005186?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item5652109242 Do an eBay search though for the best prices if you do decide to use Hycote as I just picked the first one's that popped up.

I was going to suggest eBay. That ones from China though here's one similar from a UK seller; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/INSULATED-LEAK-PROOF-COLLAPSIBLE-CAR-BOOT-TRUNK-ORGANISER-COOLER-STORAGE-BAG-/130923757747?pt=UK_TravelTickets_Accessories_RL&hash=item1e7baa00b3 Or a Nismo take on it; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-BOOT-ORGANISER-NISMO-SKYLINE-350Z-200SX-PULSAR-GTR-/280644617182?pt=UK_Car_Interior_Accessories&hash=item4157b903de

I had the same thing when I first bought an import Impreza. I just used a hairdryer going back and forth at close range over the film whilst I peeled it away from the glass starting at one edge. Came off fairly easily that way. If you pull the film at a steep angle from the glass I found this worked best and it came off in one large sheet rather than breaking & coming off in smaller bits which it did when I first removed it from a side window. Hope that helps.

Hope all goes well and enjoy it.

^^ What he said and thin even light coats of paint. Build up the paint layers slowly so that you give the previous layer of paint time for the solvents to evaporate out. It's not rocket science and I'm sure you'll be fine. Like you said chirag1988 have a practice first on some scrap before you do the car parts.

This may help you for when you do think about doing the strut brace. From the Motordyne plenum spacer fitting guide;

Police to get a £250k Supercar...What for...???
GMballistic replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
What a bl**dy stupid ridiculous idea. How can they even justify that?? ~ no room for fitting crooks in. ~ they could have had a much cheaper car that would have been more than capable of keeping up with what's on the roads today (eg; tuned new skyline GTR or similar) ~ what a waste of tax payers money/Police funds etc ....and I'd imagine it will be difficult to drive in poor conditions like snow & ice. -

GMballistic replied to Grundy's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Well that basically sells itself. *sarcasm* -
Basically exactly what the title says. Thought it could be funny with all the stuff that's out there on the net.

Ooooh. Now a winch will be cool. Make sure you get a good one. You may find this forum useful; http://m.jeepscanada.com/showthread.php?t=13999&page=3

I'd tell them if it was me ~ not going to give you more money or less money for your car either way though imo. I would however take the spacers off though as surely you can do that at home with your car jack & a socket set. They'll sell really easily too especially on here I'd have thought.

Really do like it but have to be honest, ....that front grill looks like a giant cheese grater. Need's bull bars I think to hide it and to stop the grizzly bears, moose and wolves from damaging your headlights of course whilst your off roading.

They shouldn't be on the road..!!!

Maybe I shouldn't admit to been f***ed about by a woman in a Smart car.. Just don't start a thread about it ~ look how that VXR thread is turning out. -

Bl**dy hell Will~ first our Zeds are getting smoked by VXR's and now Smart cars too. ;) Seriously though those lanes that merge into each other do my head in as the amount of people that don't indicate or just force you into on coming traffic in there race to get one car ahead is so frustrating. -

GMballistic replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I know it doesn't apply to all but f*cking bikers boil my p*ss, not because they are quicker and can nip through in traffic but because they undertake and behave like complete idiots! Think once, Think twice, Think **** Sent from the golf club... Totally agree. There not all bad I know but some are complete idiots ~ take this guy I see every day going to work on his moped. He acts a lot of the time like he's riding a pedal bike, undertaking, then overtaking. The other day when I was using a small roundabout he undertook me just as I was turning left!! If I hadn't been using my mirrors I would have just wiped him out. Same goes for the other two car's in front of me that he undertook again on a roundabout. He's a total c**k. -
I think Vlad is talking about the strut ends as well in his above post. Can't see that you would need to sand the plastics at all before priming & painting unless they had some major damage to them. If you've got a Dremel or even a cordless drill this will save you time when preparing the strut bar ends for priming. I haven't done mine yet but I've looked at them and I'm going to using metal wire brushes (sandpaper paddles) with my Dremel to get at some places on the strut bar ends where I'd struggle with sand paper & my fingers. One other thing Vlad forgot to mention is that after you have sanded it is advisable just to give the ends a gentle wash with water just to help get rid of any grit/debris ~ you can use a hairdryer afterwards to help it dry quicker. I usually also use wet & dry sand paper as it doesn't clog as much when your using a little water with the sanding process and can help stop you from ruining the primer you've just painted on as well.

No way, Jose!!! SMD, Ekona and coldel for mods!!! You should start a poll on that ~ see how well that turns out.

I used my supplied washers on the bonnet fixings when I fitted my struts.

Surely saying that alone breaks the rules of the 350Z forum!.
