  1. Was this Wessex Nissan SkylineV35? If so they are absolutely rubbish. When I first got my Zed they caused damage to it when I took it to them for a simple job of replacing the spark plugs & then obviously charged be an arm & a leg for the work. PM sent.
  2. That's quite a list! More than some have in their build threads I'm sure. Bet it sound's absolutely nuts without the exhaust system!!
  3. ^^ *I'am Just payback for the other night Dan. Re: there/their.
  4. You are probably right ddcboyle as I only tried it a couple of times so obviously didn't give it a good enough go to get weened off the cigarettes ~ my boss however did but has since gone back to smoking cigarettes. One thing I do hate though about these new E-cigs is the way that they are allowed to advertise them on the radio and other media so freely. I hear adverts for them all the time on radio stations with little mention of nicotine and no mention what so ever that they are intended for adult use or over 18's only. This seems unfair and bizarre to me as surely these things should have the same advertising infringements that cigarettes have in order to reduce the possible numbers of children that may start using these as they thinks it's cool or whatever?!
  5. I couldn't believe that either. Seems to be normal behaviour for some people nowadays. So sad to see people act like that with no empathy for the victim or there families and more interest in getting a video or picture of the gruesome scene to share with their friends.
  6. I'm a smoker and tbh I doubt I'll ever use these e-cigs. My boss in work bought one to try & I tried it too but just didn't compare for me to my cigarettes. He spent around £80-90 odd on his one so I'm assuming it was one of the best ones available but even he's stopped using it now after only a few months. You really have to want to give up smoking imo to be able to stop or for these things to work for you which I don't. Glad it's helped for you though.
  7. Welcome Darren. High mileage shouldn't be a problem as long as it has got the full service history, has been ran on Super unleaded and looked after by previous owners. Hopefully it's a good one ~ pictures/links to sale welcome.
  8. Really like that picture and your Zed ~ what colour is that btw? never seen one like that before!
  9. Just seen this shocking story on Aol. Honestly can't believe what some people do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVzz1xm6C6Y
  10. ex missus IIRC Oh. Make's sense now. Always good to impress the ladies by knowing how to fix their cars. Edited: Because nobody is allowed to make errors with spelling by order of mein Fuehrer.
  11. Think Suits was joking. ...or at least I hope he was.
  12. Just do really light coats each time ~ don't try to rush it and give everything time to dry properly in between coats. You'll be fine I'm sure.
  13. If you never owned a Zed then why did you join the forum out of interest? ...or am I missing a cleverly disguised joke?
  14. Great news ~ heard a lot of good things about Abbey Motorsports.
  15. Colour look's good ~ can see the paint ripples you mention, but that's just where it's gone on a bit thick & it's run that's all. Practice make's perfect. Regards to the sanding it all depends on how smooth you want the finish. Sometimes it's not necessary to sand after you've rubbed down & primed then sprayed your end colour. Really up to you. If you do get paint runs though on your car parts after spraying the final coat you can always rub them down with wet & dry sand paper, then re-spray.
  16. ^^ At least when you get back in the Zed it will seem like even more of a beast.
  17. Coming along nicely and starting to look more like a car again.
  18. ^^ Nope. Although I did drive up to North Wales once to see a girlfriend when I was 17 and I had a Nissan Micra 998cc, ...does that count?!
  19. ^^ Would love to try that in my 350.
  20. A/c belt or alternator belt ~ can happen at this time of year because of the cold. Mine has done it once or twice in the last few weeks. Inspect the belts to see if they are worn/cracked/perished at all and worth checking to see if they are tight enough (as this could cause the squeal). If you do need new belts you can PM a trader on here for a good deal (ZMANALEX/Clarkmotorsport/Horsham etc).
  21. ^^ "Blobby" now look's angry & mean. Nice job and the paint match looks great.
