I love it when goodies turn up from Tarmac ~ always better than Christmas, ...unless you get things from Tarmac for Christmas of course.

Hope so Wayne as it's a real pain. Can't quote people, paste pictures and I have to type like a sloth ~ even then it misses letters.

They shouldn't be on the road..!!!
GMballistic replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
^^ Bl**dy 4x4 drivers! Unusual though tbh as usually I find they like to swerve & speed up going through puddles as they like to pretend they're off roading. Just reading that makes me Angry!!! Me too. If you read this whole thread from start to finish I'm sure it would turn you psychotic. -
Welcome aboard Nic. Lovely looking Zed.

Welcome aboard to Zed ownership Mark.

As others have said could be down to just the fuel sender. Some people have cleaned their's and it solves the fault but others have had to replace them. Mine never goes all the way up to full and always reads just under. As long as you know it's not a big deal really I don't think. Worth noting (but you probably already know this) only run your Zed on Super Unleaded as the lower octane normal unleaded is not good for the engine especially when used for any great length of time.

Hello Red_Nic, welcome & nice avatar btw. If you are after a standard air filter that just fit's into the standard air box then there are a few different panel filters available which will work but tbh there's not really a lot of difference between them other than whether the filter is dry/pre-oiled/different colour/material type etc. I'd recommend a K&N or Cosworth panel filter imo. K&N is the cheaper option of those two I believe and has a life time guarantee (just needs to be cleaned & re-oiled each year). Available for around £40 from Tarmac Sportz a trader on here; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_03-06_K_and_N_Drop-In_Filter/350z-33-2031-2_.aspx If you are after an upgrade air filter to replace your standard air box and make a little more noise then there are a lot more options depending on your budget, year/model & what sort of position/look you'd like to achieve. For instance I have just purchased and fitted to my 350Z a Stillen air induction kit from Tarmac Sportz which is a great bit of kit which comes with a K&N cone filter and polyurethene heat shield. It is expensive at around £250 but is especially good if you want more performance without the negative effect of heat soak which some open cone filters with no heat shields or poor heat shields can suffer from. At the lower end of the market (price wise) is the JWT Pop charger air induction kit which is a very popular kit. This kit is priced very reasonably at around the £150 mark and comes with a heat shield & replaceable cone filter. http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_03-06_JWT_Popcharger_Intake/350Z03JWTPOP_.aspx Worth noting this kit will give you more induction noise than a standard air box as will most induction kits. Lot's of choice here to take a look at; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=dd876c45-6d4a-41df-bc25-7c19903fe703 Although there are other traders on here too which may be able to help you with filters so shop around for the best prices. Hope that helps. NB: With regards to the forum problems ~ letters being missed off etc & having to type slow. I have the same problem as you when I use my Samsung laptop and I think it may be down to the IE I'm using. Currently using my fiancee's laptop & it always works fine.

One of the big problems I think any smoker who try's to quit will have apart from the routine smoking like after meals & with coffee/beer etc will be when they get stressed or upset as I know if I'm wound up a cigarette does help me ~ or at least I feel it does. Like you though even as a smoker I'm still pretty fit and very active. Won't be running any endurance races but still fitter than some people that don't even smoke or drink.
-
Cool ~ thanks SuperStu.
-
Definitely agree. I love my morning cup of tea and a smoke as well. Been smoking since I was around 11 years old so at 34 years old now it won't be easy to quit unless I really want too. That's the thing I think you really have to want to quit before you'll even have a chance at giving up. I stopped for a few years in my 20s (I'm 40 now) but started again! "Once a smoker always a smoker" an bloke at work and fellow smoker used to say .......... he's dead now ....... Hmmmmmmmmm! Why did you start again if you don't mind me asking? If I could stop at all I would tbh but it's such a big part of my life I can't imagine not smoking. Sound's daft I know.

I may look into this. Really I just want more money to spend on my Zed as it's a much better addiction.
-
^^ +1. Bring on the summer. Great Zed & some nice pics.
-
^^ What E-cig are you using then SuperStu?
-
Loving the exhaust. Very nice.
-
That's great news. I do hate the amount of money I spend on cigarettes especially since the prices shot up but I'm a relatively light smoker really by some peoples standards (7-10 per day). Might try giving up one day but it's my only real vice apart from the Zed of course.
-
Touche Either "I am" or "I'm" ^^ Still better than "it am". Let's just agree we all make mistake's.
-
Could be an number of things including something or nothing. Sorry not very helpful I know but what I mean is sometimes the O2 sensors on the exhausts could f**k up a little (especially in this weather) and cause the light to go on or it could be something else. Your best bet is to have the code read by a diagnostic reader at a garage ~ they'll be able to read the code and tell you what the fault is. If it's an O2 sensor or similar you can then have the code reset and see if it come's on again & then deal with the problem. You can reset the ECU yourself if you wish via a pedal dance. See here; http://www.350z-uk.c...e-valve-resets/

its resprayed in Bugatti Centurion Gold Great colour choice. Anymore pic's of your great looking Zed knocking about?
-
^^ Someone who's selling their Zed may want your old Bose head unit so that they can take out their upgraded head unit & go back to standard. I believe there's something about the Bose unit being paired to the Zed they come from though. Think you have to get them divorced so that it can work in another Zed from what I've read/heard.
