  1. But will he ever get his HFC's back off you?!
  2. Some people remove them just to make a fast buck unfortunately. I've seen the Alacantara Recaros go for £500 a seat second hand before. Premier edition has Aircon as standard, red carpets, red door cards, Recaro Trendline seats (red & black as you mentioned), Momo leather steering wheel, blacked out rear windows, Type R embossed brake calipers and different colour rear seats (different from a standard EP3). Think that's it.
  3. Jammy git. Enjoy the holiday Zhorno.
  4. Ignore my post then. Wouldn't have thought the Berks HFC's where shot though after only 10K miles odd. Don't know?!. Lot's of people have these and pass the MOT fine from what I hear. Haven't had my MOT yet with my Berk's on.
  5. ^^ What Russ said ~ you really need to take the car for a good drive before the test so that the CAT's are nice and hot. Make's a lot of difference to how efficiently they work.
  6. Ahh that sucks.I have heard things about these new builds before where they have garages but it is merely just an extra storage space as the only way to get a car in is push it in as you'd never be able to get out of your drivers door. Oh well at least your bikes safe and dry.
  7. Hey Zimjason, not sure what bulbs you've already bought now but I forgot to mention yesterday in our PM's that CS2000 does LED kit's for our cars. Have a look here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76521-350z-370z-led-bulb-kits/ ....and it might be worth a PM to him if you're still confused over what bulbs are best to get.
  8. Nice pictures Jehuty and I love your Zed. Great colour and it sit's very nicely. @ Spatt ~ TC off imo. Launched my Zed a few times and it's much quicker with TC off. Just got to use your right foot to control the power your feeding in. As Juhuty mentioned though you can end up go sideways from a hard launch especially in the wet but all good fun.
  9. Nice shots. One thing ~ that garage look's a bit narrow. Does the Zed fit in there?
  10. I found people I spoke to on CTRO all had mixed ideas on that, some say noise reduction others to cause air turbulence but all agreed that the box was more efficient without the fins. You also remove a large section of wall from the box, like below;
  11. Great write up SuperStu and some lovely pictures. I especially liked the picture of your Zed parked in the puddle with the reflection. Very cool.
  12. Not really arguing just exchanging diverging & some opposite views, ...bugger, thinks that's actually the definition of an argument. Anyway a good example of the above that you mention is the EP3 Honda Civic Type R as the standard air box isn't very good for airflow ~ in fact there is a mod a lot of owners do called the "Hondata" mod which basically involves just cutting out loads of plastic fins from inside the air box which greatly improves air flow in to the filter & throttle body. Glad we don't have to do that on the Zed standard air box although I did see 14N had turned his old standard air box in to a swiss cheese lookalike in the search for more noise.

  14. ..But if I blocked you I'd miss out on all your Lol posts. You are totally correct of course. I know manufacturers do tell porkies to sell there products but what I was getting at is just to blanketly state that all induction kits give no gains whatsoever is just a bit unfair. Oh and if I had believed the Takeda induction kit claims of 19hp then I would have bought that instead of the Stillen kit I decided on.
  15. It's not been too difficult thanks to the eCigs ... I've tried giving up cold turkey but I only lasted 2 weeks before I was back to smoking daily. I had tried eCigs a few years ago but at the time I was still smoking cigarettes regularly as well ... This time round I made the decision to switch completely and a year has just flown by.. Just stick with it .. Will do thanks. Haven't had a cigarette all day today so that's day one anyway. I did try Nicotine gum back in the late 1990's when it first came out but that didn't work for me and I had only been smoking then for around 4/5 years regularly. Hoping this will work better as I can still get my nicotine hit & smoking enjoyment without all the other dangerous chemicals/poisons that cigarettes contain nor the high prices.

    Good idea but I would say it all depends on how bad the rust is ~ if half of it has rotted away & fallen off then no amount of paint is going to make that look good. Edit: Maybe worth a PM to..... Im yet to see one in that bad shape. that is some thick gauge steel that its made of so would take a while to rust away to being too far gone. Fair enough. Might paint my rusty piece of cr*p one day then.
  17. Yeah I'd say I've definitely noticed an improvement in health since I made the swtich to eCigs. I do a lot of running (about 10 miles a week) and my times have come down a lot since i stopped smoking cigarettes... I've had the occassional cigarette on a night out, but to be honest I don't enjoy them anymore... I'm absolutely loving the Zmax ... It's quite heavy though as it's made from stainless steel but definitely worth it! Well that sound's good then. Really hope I can stay off the cigarettes for as long as you.
  18. Not sure what to make of that Dblock as usual your posts are fairly basic. Why didn't you just type "lol" or some rubbish as normal. Anyway I'm not saying this is necessarily true but this is what the manufacturers are claiming after their own tests conducted on the Zed. Make of it what you will but for the small gain or loss you may get by fitting an induction kit it's pretty irrelevant tbh apart from they look & sound better than OEM.
  19. Some of you are saying that these air induction kits make no difference over standard air boxes and although in some cases this may be true, in fact you may even lose power, this is not always the case with every induction kit imo. Now any gains you may get are small and tbh you will not notice any difference imo other than an increase in induction noise but there are still gains to be had over a standard air box & filter. In fact believe it or not some manufacturers do actually test their product against OEM to see what if any difference there is. Again granted these tests are done under the best circumstances for their equipment but still a proven difference from what I have read. Two examples tested on 2003 Nissan 350Z's; JWT Popcharger with heatshield ~ up to 6.5hp @wheels over standard OEM air box/filter. Takeda Retain short ram kit ~ up to 19hp/16ft/lbs torque (doesn't say if at the wheels or not) over standard OEM air box/filter. Anyway for the gains you may get you're probably better just saving your money & taking a sh*t each time you drive the car just to save weight but each to there own as there's nothing wrong with getting an induction kit just for the look's or sound alone imo if that's your thing.

  21. Have you noticed any improvement in your health at all after you switched? Obviously saving money but just wondered if you felt any healthier after the switch. ZMAX V5+ look's very cool.
  22. Pleasantly surprised with that ~ front end not too good but the rest is ok especially the performance.
