Same here really.
Play CD's or listen to the radio daily but if I do go on a long trip it is nice to know I have the option to put a DVD on and shut the Mrs up.
From TalkAudio.uk;
Apparantly that's all you need to do to get it to play DVD's on the move. It is illegal so up to you whether you decide to do it or not but obviously chances of you getting caught are slim.
My audio specialist did it for me when I had my head unit fitted by them as I wanted to be able to play DVD's on the move so that the Mrs had something to watch when we drove long distance. What's the point of having a DVD player in the car otherwise?! Not exactly at the age where I'm going to park up in McDonalds and watch a film or something.
You could always PM Greg (myfairlady) to see if he's willing to take your current car in part ex. (just hover your cursor over his name and you will see the send PM icon)
^^ Nice head unit. Not dissimilar to my own Pioneer unit.
Not sure if you're fitting it yourself or having an audio specialist do it but make sure you get them to earth the handbrake lead so that you can have DVD's playing on the move. Much better for your passenger then on long journeys as they can watch a film while you eat the miles away in the Zed.
Nothing to worry about ~ still much better than using the bonnet stay as there is much more room to work on things, ....plus do you really want it to shoot up so fast that it knocks your teeth out every time you open the bonnet?!
Maybe he's just gone for the under the car type strut brace/strengthening because there's no space left in that engine bay.
That turbo is F**kin' huge.
Definitely agree.
If I had wanted a roadster than I'd have had an S2000 over a Zed roadster or Z4 roadster for sure although when I last looked at an S2000 the finish around the folding roof was very poor. Could have just been the one I looked at though.
Wish I had a bulge bonnet.
ZEUS this is going to look great on your Zed I would have thought around £150-£200 to spray the bonnet well though tbh. £300 very steep.
