  1. Welcome aboard. Good luck with your search.
  2. Don't like rim tape at all tbh but the above actually look's good I think on that Zed with those wheels. Confused now.
  3. Imo this is definitely the best car forum I've ever used or been a privilege to be a member on. Some of the other car forums that I've been on that are worth a mention; Scoobynet & CTRO (Civic Type R Owners) ~ do have fairly easy to use layouts and have been good at times but not a patch on this site. I think it's the other members, traders, mods and sheer wealth of knowledge on here that makes this such a great car site/forum community.
  4. Nice video but just wish it was longer and more in depth.
  5. Look's bad. Good luck getting it sorted and hope it doesn't cost you too much to fix.
  6. Gun metal ~ went to see a black one but it was sold and I was sold on my gun metal one as soon as I drove it.
  7. Good question ~ I would imagine you'd be ok with white as they do shine through a red lense as you mentioned ~ tbh though I don't know so maybe some of the other guys will know for definite. Just bought 24 LED Stop & Tail lights for my Zed which are red if that helps ~ going to change them this weekend after they arrive.
  8. Maybe worth a PM to ZEDMANALEX a trader on here for the wing if you get the bumper from rothers2901.
  9. That was fast ~ good news & someone got a bargain.
  10. ^^ Basically what he said ~ sidelights/side indicators/boot light & number plate bulbs are commonly know as 501 bulbs. Rear & front indicators/fog light as T20 bulbs and in case you want to change the stop/tail lights they are T20 twin filament bulbs.
  11. Serious?! Well f*ck, I'm out then. Might as well just get an Astra VXR now then.
  12. Look's great zed 1990. Love a clean engine bay.
  13. ^^ "unequal headers" yes Dblock ~ classic Subaru boxer sound.
  14. I think they use a different bolt right under the covers GM , Have a look at the ebay pics Had a look just now at those ones. They do look like a pig to fit but still do able imo. I had seen other Tein lifters for the 350Z where they mount to the wing similarly to all the other "good" ones on the market but again the Tein ones need modifying to fit. Don't know why they can't get it right.
  15. If he plays his card's right he might just sell it though.
  16. Oh dear. Volvo, meets Mitsubishi, meets Subaru, meets glue sniffer in "hall of mirrors". I haven't liked many Subaru's since the late 90's tbh.
  17. Very true I just felt there were easier ones to fit on the market, bargain for someone though I had forgotten about them its only when I saw this post I remembered Definitely a bargain for sure. I can see how the Teins fitting would put some people off though.
  18. ^^ You can easily modify the covers though to fit using a Dremel or similar but I see why some people are unwilling to do it or unable.
  19. Sold already. Someone definitely got a bargain there. I'd be upset but I already got some nice carbon fibre ones from 14N.
  20. Welcome aboard. If you have a look at the Traders section, Tarmac Sportz has a thread running with videos of customer exhausts so that should give you some ideas.
  21. Welcome aboard Rob.
  22. LED's is a great shout as there cheap, easy to fit and if you do decide to sell the car in the near future then there easily removed to fit on your next car. Same goes for wheel valve caps, stubby aerial and some oil caps.
  23. I'd recommend Fuchs Pro S fully synthetic 5W/30 from Opie Oils (a trader on here).
  24. With regards to paints in hotter temperature environments you can get HT & VHT paint (High Temp & Very High Temp) which can cope with hotter temperatures under the bonnet. If the Chrome has come off your Nissan badge then you ideally should remove it all off before you paint it especially if it's a big chip as it will show up after painting. You could just try sanding the effected area until you can't feel any step and it is smooth but the difference between a chromed surface and the non chromed surface may cause a different finish to the paint finish after spraying. For the sake of an extra 10 minutes with some sand paper (or a Dremel with a wire brush attachment) I'd just try & removed all the chrome if I was you.
