  1. No idea but I'd rather the Zed any day tbh. You could also try asking here to see if they have any views on the differences if any of them have owned a Zed previously; http://www.z4-forum.com/
  2. Really happy to read that zeb. Fantastic news for you ~ now just enjoy it.
  3. Loved the video Chromatic. Sounded fantastic being able to hear the exhaust from the outside like that. So that's why people turn their heads when I put my foot down! On the remap subject I do have to agree with KyleR as from what I've read it is true about the stock ECU on the Zed. Just save up those penny's (cents ) and get the Zed remapped. Then you'll know what power you've actually achieved and the car will be much better for the tune up.
  4. Mines silver lol, but photos make it look grey And mines Gun Metal, ...not grey.
  5. Very interesting read and liking the 350Z track car although the Clio is obviously very cool especially with the ITB's.
  6. Ooooo what you getting, we may have new shoes at the same time It's a secret. Already bought & paid for them but just need to be patient now and wait for them to arrive from a far & distant country. China? That would be cheaper. America. Edit : Sorry don't want to take over your wanted thread Tom ~ free bump.
  7. ^^ Oh dear ~ seller should have used spell check or at least a dictionary that's for sure. Even if they are dyslexic no reason to be stupid as well.
  8. Ive checked and its not lol Do you have a rear fog light? and does it work? If you do have a rear fog light and it doesn't work then one of the switches will be pretty much definitely be for that. The other, well it could be for something that a previous owner had installed on the Zed like Neon's or strobe lights but has since been removed.
  9. haha I know man, I'm so indecisive. I think it's because this is the first car I've owned outright, normally I'm tied to a car with finance etc but the Z is all paid up. I've spent loads on the Z in the last few months to be honest, litteraly thousands. Either way, I'm putting cash to one side now, I guess I'll just keep looking and see what happens. Getting the Z supercharged is a possibility, I've been doing a fair bit of research into that recently too. If you did go down the supercharged route for the Zed even though a fair few people have already done it that will still be a more unique & rarer car than any Impreza/Evo or Skyline. Just a thought. My first Turbo car was a my96 "classic shape" JDM Subaru Impreza WRX ~ it was bog standard when I bought it and probably only running around 256bhp even though it was supposed to be a claimed 276bhp as standard. Spent thousands on modding it to how I liked it and trying to get more power from it but ultimately it was a nightmare car to own. Total money pit & spent more time on the back of low loaders than it did on track. Had the engine rebuilt once, gearbox twice, front diff adjusted, rear & centre diffs rebuilt etc etc. I know not all 4wd turbo cars or Impreza's would be like this one but it is definitely something to bear in mind as they can be very expensive to maintain & repair. My 295bhp old money pit below. Could of got more power from it easily eventually by changing the intercooler & turbo unit but the engine smashed a con-rod through the block only 12K miles after the first engine rebuild so that was that and I got rid of it because I'd had enough by that stage.
  10. Sorry to read this Easty. Glad you weren't hurt though. Definitely going to have nightmares tonight now.
  11. I've got EBC dimpled/grooved front discs, standard Brembo calipers and am running Ferodo DS2500 pads from Horsham Developments. Not too much brake dust and not one noise from them under braking.
  12. Great news matey. Exactly the same place I took my Zed and you won't be disappointed I'm sure. Best not be will be on your head! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Good or bad you have to post the results of the dyno though. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23450-dyno-results-info-thread/page__st__80#entry1224915 Have you got a plenum spacer fitted btw? just wondered as I bought Horsham's own one & they had it on offer when I got it at just over £150 ~ bargain I thought.

  14. Why will he have to go lower because he is running 18's? Believe it's to do with the wheel arch gap. 19's would fill the gap better than 18's but to get the same look as the 19's you'd need to lower it more over the 18's. If that makes sense. @grundy ~ what tyre sizes are you planning on & makes? It makes no difference as you will want to keep the rolling radius the same by adjusting the tyre profile, 18, 19 or 20's you still end up with the same arch gap Understand the rolling radius point and adjusting the tyres profile. Then I have no idea why parello9 suggested he would need to go lower.
  15. Welcome aboard and glad to read your enjoying your new Zed.

I'm not one for bling Will be covered by carbon Isn't that hypocritical?! If it was me I'd try to get a clear perspex cover so you can see those beauties spinning.
