Tbf imo it's not a bad stereo system the Bose one with decent enough speakers but when you start comparing it's speakers to £200-£300+ speakers then obviously they are cr*p in comparison. For example it's nowhere near as good as my system in my old WRX which had a full set of Focal component speakers and an Infinity amp but then that was a £1500+ system ~ it is however miles ahead of the standard system in my old Civic Type R which I suspect had Fisher Price speakers as they where rubbish.

Well I don't think it's cool but some do obviously. It's each to there own with any mods on any car tbh. I wouldn't worry about that though as they are easily replaceable for OEM ones or some silver version's and those black ones will easily sell afterwards if you didn't want them. Maybe someone on here would even do you a swap for their standard ones.

No idea sorry but if it's still under warranty then it's a no brainer really to get it back to the garage and ask them to sort it.

I don't feel the engine temperatures are a problem for me but then it is a lot hotter for you where you live. Some people have fitted bonnet (hood) spacers to allow the hot air to escape but imo it really spoils the clean lines of the car and does make it look a little bit like it's had a front end crash which someone hasn't repaired. Like the picture below; Achieved using this type of thing; But for what they are you could probably make some easy enough if you wanted to. Not for me though.

Believe me both I was so tempted to keep it a secret and buy it for myself but thought I'd share it in case anyone else really wanted one. Great cheap mod especially if the lower valance is stone chipped at all.

It's not even the fact that's it's a fake Jay-350z that bothers me. It's more the safety aspect and relying on that thing to do the job intended especially if in a crash situation. I mean for example "Tegiwa" make a copy of the famous "Gruppe M" induction kit for the EP3 Civic Type R. It uses a K&N filter just like the original & also has a carbon fibre surround but it is still essentially a copy. Now I'd have no issues buying one of those after all it is around £300 cheaper. But when your talking something like a steering wheel or brake parts or suspension parts then these are all parts to me that if they go wrong could lead to serious injury, if not death and at the very least damage to your beloved car. That wheel probably does look great & is fine for the money you've paid but it's only when you have an accident that you're suddenly going to be wishing you'd paid that little bit more cash for the real deal as the spokes buckle and shear off stabbing you in the face.

Can drop the conversions when it's done locally lol.. Is your petrol half price? Your bread half price? 95 pounds for 4+ hours of labor is insanely cheap.. that's less than 25 pounds an hour.. Perhaps the average rate there is 25-40 pounds an hour on mechanical work. Here it's about 80-110 an hour.. Just depends on where you live, they tend to jack up the prices living where I do. Again, big reason I've been building my tool collection , getting the impact setup going, etc.. So I won't need the mechanics for much.. Just missing a lift,.. one day, one day It was from an independent garage locally and I have known the owner for years since we met on a Subaru forum when I had my Impreza WRX. Think it was a bit of mates rates tbh and I knew it was fairly cheap so also gave him a few Buds to drink.

Very nice Zed and I do prefer the alloys now in the darker colour.
