  1. Welcome aboard Michael. Your English is very good and let's hope we don't disappoint you like the German 350Z forum did.
  2. That's cool. Hope you get it sorted. Alex is a good guy so should be able to sort the parts out for you.
  3. Ignore me then as that's a great price especially if you can see/test it before you buy.
  4. Never been done in the UK to my knowledge, however the gearbox is similar so the only issues that you may have are ECU and looms etc. Best to swop like for like, just to keep it simple and cost effective. Alex. Any lying around? Haha As I linked you in an earlier post Clark Motorsport have a RevUp used DE engine for sale with 33K miles odd on it for around £2K. 5. Glad the old Zed passed Darren ~ on with the build now then.
  6. I wouldn't bother with the Nissan Dealership imo. Just find a good independent garage and pay for it when you need it. If you need breakdown cover then I'd recommend the RAC which is who I'm with but you could also obviously try the AA or Green Flag.
  7. This should help.... http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/
  8. Try zmanalex. Screw in boot rubbers? Do you mean the part as in the picture below.. If it is this (a boot spring lift) then Clark Motorsport have new or again try Alex for used parts. Link: http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Boot-Spring-Lift/84415-CD71A
  9. HR would fit but I'd imagine it wouldn't just be an easy swap obviously as wiring looms will be different and other bits too (gearbox? etc). I'd maybe ask Abbey Motorsport or similar to see what they can do for you on your budget or just to see if the ideas you have like about the HR engine swap are even feasible.
  10. Love the first picture as the colour really pops. Great looking Zed.
  11. Horsham Developments are located in Chieveley, Berkshire. Link: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/contact_us.php They use genuine Nissan gearbox oil with Molyslip gearbox additive added at the same time to improve gear changes further. Diff oil again was genuine Nissan stuff. Was about £54 for the service pack to do the gearbox oil change and about £25 for the diff oil.
  12. Look's great ~ the hump bonnet alone on those HR Zeds does it for me but with that colour & frost leather too...
  13. .. I took mine off last week. Pull the rubber door seal free after removing the inner plastic trim (work from rear forwards on those). Remove the small plastic pin at rear top corner then (preferably with a plastic trim removal tool) start at the forward end of the kick plate and gently lever upwards until clips break free. I think there are 4 clips in total. The clips are quite fragile but if they do break then some double sided 3M body tape can be used to re-attach. David Ceejay was on about the actual aluminium plate David as he wanted to paint it. He answered his own question anyway a post later. Good little write up though David.
  14. Does seem like a decent chap. Wish I was closer to some of the more helpful members on here. Edit: spelling.
  15. Probably think it's Inspector Morse on the way to another crime scene.
  16. I noticed a good improvement on my Zed to after Horsham Developments did mine ~ money well spent for sure.
  17. No problem. What I did was take pictures of the parts I wanted dipped (you could just grab some of the net though) and then emailed those to them along with my colour preferences. They then emailed me back a quote for the work. If you're happy with the price you then just package up your parts, add a note inside the box (I printed off the email) with your name/address/number and then just enclose payment. I paid via cheque which they where happy with as it had plenty of time to clear whilst they did my parts.
  18. Fair enough. What's your generation though? just curious now.
  19. You're not seeing it in the right light imo.... Still Grandad?
