  1. Thought someone else might have done this already but as I can't see it here we go.... Happy 60th Birthday 350zedd.
  2. Great value when you consider everything done to this Zed. GLWTS Keyser.
  3. Thanks and I'm sure if he was around today he'd appreciate the compliment. I don't know what he did for a living but he was obviously good with his hands. All the brass on the tank is from old shells but I've no idea where or what the copper's from that he used for the tank treads. If you look carefully you might be able to see the top of the turret is made from an old French coin that has a hole through the centre.
  4. Thanks Will and I have treasured it ever since my Dad gave it to me when I was probably around 18/19 years old. I also have two .50 cal deactivated bullets/shells that my Grand Father brought back from World War 2 that sit next to the tank on my display shelf. One's dated 1942 and the other 1943 on the base so he collected them very close to the end of the war.
  5. Totally agree. The sad thing is though that as a driver on the road it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of themselves/passengers & other road users by ensuring their vehicle is safe for road use. This isn't something like not checking the oil which may just lead to an engine failure &/or a breakdown, ...this is something that could lead to a blowout or serious accident causing injury or loss of life. So frustrating that these simple checks aren't drummed into people more before allowing them to drive in the first place.
  6. No probs ~ hopefully you can help him out, make some cash and everyone's a winner.
  7. I honestly don't mind these bumpers ~ if you forget that's it's trying to emulate a GTR's front end then as a front bumper it looks pretty good on it's own merits I think. Wouldn't put one on my Zed but I'm more performance orientated than style orientated.
  8. Hate stuff like this going on ~ usually they get away with it though. Hopefully Trading Standards will be interested Josh. Also if it's on eBay/GumTree/Pistonheads etc couldn't you also report it on there?

    Bugger

Hope you get the f**ker who damaged your Zed Hooch. Really does take the pi** people who do this. Lacking in morals obviously and empathy for the other car owner, ...purely selfish behaviour & just thinking of themselves.
  10. Mine was the same and I never met my Great Grand Father as he died before I was born. Thought I'd share this bit of trench art that my Great Grand Father made during the first World War. I know very little about what he did or his actions during the war and I never really shared this with anyone before but here it is. His name was Ernest Monk and he was a Corporal in the Army as far as I know. On one side of the tank that he made it is inscribed "1916 Theipval" and on the other "1919 Estrees". This is where he was and from what little I could find out about it he was at Theipval woods, France during the battle of the Somme. This is one of my most treasured items as it is hand made by himself and really is my only possession that I own which is truly irreplaceable.
  11. Zmanalex should have what you need or failing him maybe one of the below can help. R35LEE: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63996-2004-350z-breaking-all-parts/ Shades RS: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/87886-53-nissan-350z-gt-breaking-spares-with-20-khans/
  12. ^^ Think your picture f**ked up Will as you're making less sense than normal there.
  13. We're lucky. I doubt any of us will ever be able to fully comprehend what they went through & their families went through both here in Great Britain and abroad.
  14. My Grand Father was in WW2 and my Great Grand Father was in WW1. Both survived unscathed through the battles which is astonishing as my Great Grand Father was at the battle of the Somme.
  15. You should be pleased with that as it looks great especially the centre console. Think the hand brake handle is the only thing I wouldn't have done but if you're happy then that's all that matters.
  16. I'm pretty sure this is what Horsham Developments put in my Zed ~ http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25423 Bet you can't wait to drive it again.
  17. Good things never come cheap Michael. Sometimes it's worth paying the little bit extra though especially if it makes you happy.
  18. Ahh good shout. Forgot about the ZSpeed one. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/52908-zspeed-under-trays-in-stock/
  19. So when are you getting sponsorship sorted from Britvic? They make Tango Orange in case you didn't know. Looks good Ian btw.
  20. Your best bet for a good second hand unit is probably zmanalex. Try sending him a PM to see if he has the undertray you need in stock. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Failing that maybe try Clark Motorsport or R35LEE as both of these had 350's they where breaking.
  21. Didn't think it could get more orange, ....I was wrong.
  22. Purples a good choice I think. Have only seen maybe two Zeds sporting purple and it does look awesome I think. Only one I could find on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Purple-Split-Conduit-16-8mm-ID-Boostjunkies-/321053907522?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ac04dda42
