  1. I did notice that when I watched it but just thought he'd probably done that accidentally just because he was flustered. Still funny though.
  2. Looks much better. Was just talking about this earlier with another member ~ I've used the same kit as you. I decided at first to do it like you have using just the polish & mop. The results where good but I wanted better. I used the sanding blocks and the results where much better. If you do give it a try my advice is to read the Meguairs instructions carefully & follow them to the letter. Use plenty of water and make sure you are using the grades in the correct order. E.g. Roughest to finest. Once I had used the sanding blocks I then went back and used the mop & polish again. After doing this I then used Turtle wax synthetic paste polish to give it some UV protection. So far, 3 weeks later and they both still look as good as the day I did them.
  3. ^^ This. Local Council's are a bunch of jobsworths.
  4. Glad to read you're getting it. As long as he turns up Well don't jinx it.
  5. I'd have a word with Mitz on here if I was you. He's a garage owner/trader and helped me greatly when deciding on the correct fitment alloys for my Zed ~ very helpful guy and knows his stuff. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/94-cougar-store/ I was going to get the Teins lowering springs as from what I understand the drop is minimal with these (14mm Fr/17mm Rr) and they should allow me the adjustment with the standard parts to get the alignment correct. If you're going lower then you may need to start changing other parts. Ask Mitz though he'll know for sure.
  6. ^^ It will be awesome though when it's finally done Ian and unique to your tastes which is why we all waste so much on our cars ~ whatever they are.
  7. The mods will move it for him I'm sure.
  8. There is some guy locally to me that owns a dog of a Honda Civic Sport ~ doesn't take care of it at all, has a smashed rear "lexus style" light lens, green algae on every rubber trim piece and for some reason he has branded it as a "Type R" and stuck "The Ring" sticker on the boot lid. I just laugh at it every time I see it ~ I'm pretty sure it should win some sort of "Barry Boy" award.
  9. So why aren't you doing that with your Supra then? Plenty of faster, more modern better cars that you could have with the money you're spending on that Ian.
  10. Please tell me you've actually been to the Nurburgring?! Just the 3 times.... Don't worry I'm not one 'of them' I bought it in the official 'ring shop Fantastic ~ sick of seeing that sticker on cars round here that clearly can't make it out of Wales let alone a lap of the ring. It's what all the cool guys do. I'm planning on getting new number plates made up one day with the 350Z Uk forum written on the bottom along with my user name to show my allegiance.
  11. Three weeks so far and still look as good as the day I did them. Got the wax from my brother for a present a year or so ago and I'm really impressed with it. Use it on my Zed every month or two and it's great as you don't need to worry about getting it on lights or things as it leaves no white marks. Takes a bit of elbow grease but what wax doesn't really. Definitely worth a try imo.
  12. Please tell me you've actually been to the Nurburgring?!
  13. Welcome aboard ~ great pair of motors but especially the Zed of course. Love the number plates btw especially the Limey Bast**d one. Edit: Also where about's are you in Florida?
  14. Don't do stickers on my car, ...so mines on my toolbox.
  15. Looking good Hooch. I did the Megs headlight restore kit thing a few weeks ago and I used Turtle Wax Ice synthetic paste as a UV protective barrier. Working great so far.
  16. He's right you know. Ikea have much better car parks for acoustics.
  17. ^^ That is brilliant ioneabee. Gave me a chuckle anyway.
  18. It's supposed to do that so don't worry.
  19. Guessing that was meant for M Cooks thread about the "angry man".
  20. I can't wait for this to happen actually as I'm sure they'll start running over cyclists left, right & center leading to the inevitable banning of the driver-less car. No computer controlled car in the world will ever be smart enough to predict what a cyclist will do.
  21. ^^ Maybe they'll get more sensible as they grow up Ricky.
