  1. Have you had a mental break down or something Stevo? What's the point in editing all these posts you've made to just read "?" ?
  2. You keep doing what you're doing Pete. Nice to know at least some people care enough to still look after animals even if they're not their own.
  3. Just some ideas for you... http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/tvr/wedges/tvr-tasmin-280i-2-2-1982/2800606 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/mazda/rx-8/mazda-rx8-4dr-192--1-owner-from-brand-new/2804611 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/other-models/toyota-mr2-turbo-t-bar-gts-import/2829858 None of the above are cars I have experience with, they are just something different that was within your budget. Personally I'd probably go with the BMW E36 series as you already mentioned. I've seen some 328's and a 330ci fall into that price range on Autotrader which is probably where'd I'd look if I was you. Good luck with the search. @Stu ~ thought it was the same hill. Look forward to the other vid.
  4. Awesome results Stu and great footage. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that was the same hill run that Top Gear used in one of there challenges once when they all had old hot hatches. I remember because Hammond had a Nova which he "rolled" on the way back down the hill. Really cool actually seeing someone who can properly drive going up the hill.
  5. Fair enough ~ good luck with the search.
  6. Looks in good condition for a feral cat Pete. Me & the Mrs where feeding one that we thought might have been feral due to it's condition but it may have just been neglectful owners unfortunately as there are houses everywhere here. Still see him/her around and it looks in much better shape nowadays so life's improved for him/her by the looks of things.
  7. Looking at the picture of your R32 wouldn't you be better with some side skirts? Just looks a little high in the middle compared to how low the front bumper/splitter sits. Side steps wouldn't really go low enough imo on the R32 and they look good on the 350 because of the lines of the car itself. E.g: the Zeds lower front bumper/splitter are sort of perfectly inline with the middle side skirts. Good luck with the search though if it's what you want to do.
  8. Looks good hiding behind the Zed.
  9. Tbh I haven't and I sold my old Rays so with the cost of winter tyres in my rear alloy size of 275/19" being a little costly I doubt I'll ever bother. I'm lucky though as works only 4-5 miles away so I'm more than capable of walking it. Least that way I can tuck the Zed up all cozy & safe in the garage.
  10. Sure the Zed can handle the snow, just search Youtube as there's lot's of videos of Zeds driving fine in the snow providing you bear in mind it's rear wheel drive, ...the problem here in Wales is the bl**dy hills. Negotiating my way safely down them is fine but getting almost 1.5 tons of RWD vehicle back up them can be a nuisance and wouldn't you know it I can't get to my house without going up one of at least 3-4 hills. Hence why my Type R once spent a week stranded down in the local village at the bottom of a hill when the snow was really bad.
  11. S*d it, ..it's only money and you only live once. Might as well enjoy it while you can.
  12. Stop showing off Dan we get it you're considerably richer than us. Seriously though good write up and glad you enjoyed your 911 experience. It's definitely a car I'd like to own but for me I do get some strange enjoyment from owning a car that is modified for better performance than it was as standard and as you say the 911 is just great right out of the box so maybe it's a car I'll never end up with for that reason. Who knows. Thanks for sharing.
  13. you live in wales isn't it always wet and cold anyway Yep pretty much not to mention a hill or mountain around every corner. Got lucky last year as there was no snow, ...if it snows (bad) this year though I will be walking to work. Better that though then leaving my Zed stranded for a week at the bottom of a hill as I had to do one year with my Civic Type R. Funnily though I never had such issues with my old Impreza. 4WD for the mfw.
  14. What season AliveBoy? Driving my Zed all year round and the modding never stops either.
  15. Fyi 3 minutes of driving is not enough time to let the car safely warm up before you start giving it some beans if that's what you're doing. I'd say at least 10/15 minutes or 10 miles at the very least before you start taking it above the 2.5k/3K rpm mark. Much safer for the engine that way as it allows the oil/engine/gearbox etc to all get to operating temperature meaning less chance of wear on the engine/components.
  16. When you pry it again try giving it a tap with a rubber/nylon mallet at the same time to see if it shocks it a bit to start it moving off. . Oh and by "tap" I mean put some muscle into it.
  17. ^^ Sounds like fun Dan. Would love to see/hear a video of it next time you really get to drive it in anger.
  18. Glad it turned good for you in the end mate.
  19. Happy Birthday nath8642 ~ already said Happy Birthday to grundy so not saying it again.
