I have some video but to be quite honest it's almost identical to the one in my original post.
Will try and squeeze a couple of trackdays in before the end of the year as looking forward to seeing how the car goes on a damp track with the Racelogic traction control.
Ok no bother. Hopefully the Racelogic TC will do it's job well in the wet/damp conditions.
Obviously depends how much money you have to spend. I'd be thinking for definite though;
Exhaust manifolds
Clutch/light weight flywheel
Rust protect/paint bits of the bay that would be hard to reach with the engine in situ
I'd remove that link if I was you otherwise the mods will.
There are rules regarding selling cars on here to protect the members & buyers ~ minimum of 100 posts & you must have been a member for 6 months or more.
If you try to circumvent the rules it will not end well for your membership ~ just a friendly heads up.
Had my Impreza for over two & a bit years, ...only really needed the 4wd for 3 days out of 780 odd. The weathers not that bad here in Britain imo that you can justify buying a 4wd over a fwd or rwd for "bad weather days".
Don't get me wrong though as I love 4wd and it was awesome with a light weight turbo car like the classic Impreza.
Hhhmm.
Never had one but this Alfa diesel fits your criteria; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410108101722/sort/default/onesearchad/used/price-to/4000/postcode/cf158rl/engine-size-cars/1-7l_to_1-9l/radius/1500/fuel-type/diesel/price-from/3500/usedcars/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles/transmission/manual/body-type/coupe/page/1?logcode=p
As does this Renault diesel: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201407296187046/sort/default/fuel-type/diesel/make/renault/page/1/onesearchad/used/price-to/4000/body-type/hatchback/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles/price-from/3500/engine-size-cars/1-7l_to_1-9l/postcode/cf158rl/radius/1500/transmission/manual/usedcars?logcode=p
This looks more like it though to me, a Honda Civic 1.8i VTEC: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410108099843/sort/default/body-type/hatchback/onesearchad/used/usedcars/postcode/cf158rl/make/honda/price-to/4000/page/1/price-from/3500/transmission/manual/radius/1500/engine-size-cars/1-7l_to_1-9l/fuel-type/petrol/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles?logcode=p
It's a 4wd turbo so power delivery will be totally different to that of the na V6.
Personally I do like them but they are just turbo saloon cars and not much to look at in comparison to the Zed. Was looking at them years ago but I decided in the end to go for an Impreza as it was a car I had always wanted & was a much better looker than the Evo's imo.
Any more info to help narrow it down further ~
Petrol or Diesel?
3 Door/4 Door etc?
Automatic preferred or manual?
Fwd, Rwd, 4wd?
Does it need to be a small car, big car, estate etc?
Photobucket works fine for me and plenty of others. Have a read here to see if it helps: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91141-cant-upload-photos/
In Photobucket click on "direct link" and it will automatically copy it ~ then paste that into the "image url" on the "reply to this topic" and press ok. Should work.
I use google Chrome btw but if you are using IE (internet explorer) I know people have had problems with this before as did I before I changed to Chrome.
PPod I have just spotted these if they are of any interest to you. Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Z33-carbon-fiber-fluid-cover-and-battery-cover-engine-covers-/321506497672?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4adb47d488
From France but still should be good if that's what you're after. Hope that helps.
Couldn't find any UK sellers but I'm sure they're out there.
