  1. Me too ~ mainly because of the term "dent" as you'd be hard pressed to dent the kick plates. More likely to scratch, scrape, chip or possibly crack one if you where really heavy footed.
  2. Randy I think he may be referring to the side skirts. If I'm right J4CKO then removing the side skirts is very easy. Bolts underneath (x6 10mm I think from memory), few trim type clips at either end (pop rivets) and just pulls off away from the vehicle. Just found a how to although the pictures have gone it should still help ~ Post n#3: http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=4173 PM zmanalex for good used side skirts or failing that Clark Motorsport maybe. If I'm wrong and it is the kick plates as Randy mentioned above his suggestions are what you want. To remove them that's easy too: pull up from the rear the plastic trim that runs from rear to front on top of the door seal (just clips in), with that removed lift up out of the way the rubber seal then at the rear of the kick plate there is a plastic pop rivet holding the kick plate on. Gently pull that outwards and start lifting up the kick plate from the rear ~ all just held in place by clips from what I recall.
  3. Yurrrr their pet department is amazing nowadays I want a Bengal one now like Pete's. Hhhmm. Best not the dog would kill me. More likely the Bengal will kill the dog - really unless you're in a relatively quiet rural area Bengal not a good idea Yup... A mate of mine has a Bengal, it's an absolute psycho, tears him to bits while he's asleep, smashes the house up and Christmas trees are a no no, literally tears it down and starts ragging it all over.... And it's only playing! We talking about a Cat here or an actual Tiger?!
  4. Hhhhmm, can't you get a modern s/s 6-2-1 manifold to replace that heavy cast iron lump, then a nice 2.5" system?. If you are welding up the holes then isn't that just making it the same as if you changed the manifold anyway? Why would it see a negative effect Darren?
  5. Best British racing series going imo. Nice little vid Stevo.
  6. I must be starting to run out of "likes" now.
  7. Good man that's the way to do it. Have you checked for any leaks anywhere then to see if that explains where some of the oil may be going which may add to the higher usage you're seeing? A common place for leaks is the rocker cover gaskets ~ one on each side (obviously) and you'll be looking for oil leaking/seeping out onto the exhaust manifolds. For example of what I'm talking about: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80779-rocker-cover-gaskets-for-oil-leaks-vq35de/
  8. For your profile picture it needs to be a specific size to meet the limits. Have a read here as it tells you in one post how to do it on Photobucket. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/21486-quick-question-re-avatar-help/

  10. Didn't know Amazon sold Cat's Vik!
  11. Love those wheels and there's no stopping you now with the pictures.
  12. Love dogs ~ got a Lhasa Apso at home. Another small dog breed. You could always add Haley to the pet thread. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/25215-the-350z-uk-pet-thread/page__st__820
  13. ^^ This is what I'd probably do albeit reluctantly. It can't hurt to ring the trading standards as Mudman mentions above to see what advice they give you. The thing is though it was a verbal contract as it was over the telephone and although some verbal contracts are as legally binding as written ones this is not the case I believe when buying goods, property etc as I believe these must be all done in writing to stand up in court at least.
  14. That's pretty true actually, ...where else do you see a car with a dedicated flower holder.
  15. I don't think there is any difference with the exhaust system between an import & UK car as far as I'm aware. Best to check with the seller of any item though before you buy if possible though just to be 100% sure. Mine's a UK model so that's where my experience is. Lot's of garage traders on here though like Mitz at the Cougar Store & Ewen at Clark Motorsport who can help you further with parts & queries not to mention all the other helpful members with a wealth of experience with all types of Zeds.
  16. Not a picture of them behind Rays but you get the idea... Fyi if you like my Rota alloys Mitz (the Cougar Store) also does them.
  17. Keep an eye on the for sale section on here. ;) Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/
  18. Which 350 is it please? DE, DE RevUp or HR? Also how many miles are you doing? hard driving? I would say that is a lot of oil to be using in a month. My 2003 DE does use a bit of oil but nothing like that.
  19. Looks great nissanjuke and loving the little white fella killing the juice carton.
  20. Hi Paul, yes I'm running those. Good set up for fast road/some track use imo. The Ferodo pads are by far the best I've used so far on any car and the EBC discs seem very capable of dealing with some heavy braking abuse. Do get the "occasional" whistle/squeak type affair but honestly that could happen on any brake set up under certain conditions.
  21. Springs or coilovers? Both great quality bits of kit but the coilover's will give you more scope for dialing the car in to how you want/like it with regards to damping & ride height. Enjoy either way.
  22. Suits I think they are called "air tubes/air gallery" or "air injector tubes". I think there will be an air pump on the motor which "injects" air into the exhaust manifold to combine with the gases to create C02. Old school technology to try to combat emissions from what I've heard/read.
  23. ^^ Look's beautiful whatever it is (maybe Pete will be back to confirm). Better not show my Mrs though or she will want one.
