Glad you told him Mitz as I didn't want to be the one to spoil his day. @embrace ~ as Mitz said it is a very common mistake to make. The fitters did it on mine too when I got my Invidia. Just needs taking off, threading over & refitting. The only down side is it will cause you some clearance issues if you don't get it swapped round. Sounds great and looks fantastic btw. You just repeated everything in the posts above Well you're no help either.

I would say it is good practice to change the gearbox oil & diff oil at least every 30-50K miles under normal conditions ~ not necessarily a necessity but just good practice. Don't even think it's listed in the service schedule for the 350Z. How long the oil will last is anyone's guess as that will depend on working conditions, temperatures, water contamination (more so in humid climates), general use (hard or not), wear contaminants (like metal particles from gears) & more. Changing the gear oils in either the diff or gearbox is a lot cheaper than replacing the mechanical parts inside so it makes good sense to me to get it done on any new vehicle I own. My 2 pence worth.

Just for a laugh you should turn up at the dealership with full race gear on & helmet with a Go-Pro attached. Although it may stop you getting the test drive but it could be worth it just to see the salesman's face.

Tough decision as this is usually down to personal taste. I do like the stealth look especially when it's done right ~ I wouldn't do the windows black/tinted as imo that is a step too far & as mentioned starts to make the car look like a drug dealers motor. Quite like this sort of look....

If you buy one second hand the likely hood is that it will be marked & you may want to get it resprayed or have to for a paint match. Personally I'd get it off Alex and then just get a body shop to spray it for you or do it yourself if you can. I'd imagine at most it would cost you £50-£60 to have two side skirts sprayed (including prep) so that they will match each other.

Love the carbon fibre goodies. Just wish they where cheaper to buy.
