  1. I tried that line with an old girlfriend with regard to her sister Rob Also-
  2. I'll get on to that ASAP, does look sleeker! Here's the one to get that actually works.. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62006-350z-honda-rdx-stubby-massive-saving-13-delivered-huge-stock/ Thanks mate! Just been searching the forum to find out which ones you guys recommend- you've just saved me a job lol!
  3. A few pics of my efforts today! Weather in Edinburgh was dire today, at one point I was claying the car in the torrential rain cursing the weather gods! Rain water did give it a nice rinse though- every cloud (no pun intended!) Here was my routine: Wheels- AG wheel cleaner and AG instant tyre dressing Wash- AG shampoo Clay- Meguiars clay bar and AG rapid detailer (and a lot of rain!) Rinse- mother natures finest Polish- AG ultra deep shine (not a big fan of this actually, prefer SRP followed by extra gloss protection) Interior- AG leather cleaner and AG leather balm Glass- AG fast glass Exhaust tips- T-Cut metal polish And the results (not great pics, getting dark and on my iphone :-(
  4. Quick update... I am now an official member of the 350Z club!!! After giving it the once/twice/3 times over i decided that it was definitely the car for me! Good service history (all Nissan apart from last indy inspection), new exhaust (to the cat anyway), recent discs and pads, refurbed alloys and critically new struts in the boot so the tailgate doesn't eat my head lol! There are a couple of downsides but things I can easily fix- head unit won't play cd's (thanks forum) and the interior is showing its 10 year age (wear on gear knob (can easily change), handbrake handle (not so easy I've read?) and drivers seat (scuff master to the rescue!!)). Pretty trivial things and defo didn't put me off. The dealer even gave me a new Pioneer head unit, fascia adaptor and all the wiring harness' to connect it to the Bose system- though I'll probably punt it on ebay and opt for a double din job in the near future! Totally chuffed, car drives and sounds awesome- got to test it out on my 3h journey home :-) Thanks for all your kind posts! Happy motoring (ps I'll get more pics up tomorrow after I've washed it!)
  5. Thanks for the welcome guys! As you can imagine I'm quite excited to try it out tomorrow! I'm currently in a 2.0 Z4, which has its merits, but I'm looking forward to getting into something with a bit more "poke". Really miss the performance of my old Z4 and TT and I know the Zed isn't going to disappoint on that front- it looks and sounds fantastic too (starting to feel like I'm preaching to the already converted haha!) Fingers crossed- hopefully I'll be joining the family soon, if not the hunt will continue!
  6. Hey guys! First of all let me introduce myself- I'm Craig from Edinburgh and I'm looking to buy a 350Z! I've owned a few sports cars over the last few years (2 x Z4's and Audi TT) and have always fancied the 350Z but for one reason or another it hasn't worked out. Hopefully this will change soon! I'm going to look at one tomorrow- right colour, interior, GT spec, pre 2006 etc. Looks promising so fingers crossed I'm not disappointed! I've popped a couple of pics up in case anyone recognises it- long shot but always worth an ask! I've had a browse of the forum for common faults/ things to look out for so thank you all for such a great forum and wealth of information! If things go well tomorrow I'll be moving from one type of Zed into another :-) I'll keep you posted! Craig
