  1. You didn't mention whether they are 18's or 19's etc but just to give you an idea. I'm running Rota Grids that I bought from Mitz@the Cougar Store. They are 19 x 9.5J ET20 front & 19 x 10.5J ET20 rear. The tyres are 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. Clear the Brembo calipers fine and I have no rubbing issues. I find the ride & handling very good but then this is only a personal opinion.
  2. It happens. Last post in here before mine today was August last year so my fault technically for bumping an old "ish" thread.
  3. Mr Way do you have a 370Z then or a 350Z as in your avatar? Just wondered as it wouldn't be the first time someone accidentally posted in the wrong section. Anyway some food for thought: Bonnet struts (lifters) LED bulbs (boot light, number plate lights, sidelights, interior lights, indicators etc) Stubby (as Durk above mentioned) Chrome tyre valve caps Uprated 1.3 bar radiator cap (Mishimoto, Cusco etc) Performance panel filter Zed badges/burger badges etc I could go on.
  4. Thought I'd finally add to this Chris now I finally got round to doing a static rev up video. 2003 Vortech supercharged Nissan 350Z with Invidia Gemini true dual exhaust system & Berks De-Cats. Link:
  5. Cheers both. I'll see if I get time on the weekend to do a fly by video but first I'll have to convince the Mrs to record it, ...not to mention find somewhere safe & legal to do it.
  6. Think that's fair enough & a good idea too if you don't want it any louder than it is already. Just added a video to my build thread of my Zed revving up with the Invidia & Berks De-Cats just in case you're interested in hearing it. (follow link in my signature to my build thread for it)
  7. Ok so I decided to upload a short video of me revving up the Zed after I had been out for a run one afternoon. It's not the best I know but just to give any interested parties an idea of what it sounds like supercharged with the Invidia system & De-Cats whilst revving.
  8. Personally I'd keep the Invidia as I don't think it's too loud with my SC Zed & De-Cats. Your choice though & a bargain for someone. GLWTS.
  9. I wouldn't of thought so. Something like; Evo's, Impreza's, Audi RS4, VX220 Turbo etc? Most sub 5 second depending on model or close enough (5.2 secs). Although the mileage, age & seats (in the case of the VX) may be a big ask.
  10. I remember my mate telling me of the time he was "run off the road by a nutter in a van". His Mrs, permanently preoccupied with her phone, didn't even realise they'd been in an accident until they came to a halt in the field adjacent to the road they were on and he got out of the car. Yep sounds like mine would probably be just like that.
  11. Ive bought the car from a bmw dealer...not been under it, they didnt even know the back boxes were aftermarket...I only noticed as they have scorpian stamped the the tail pipes..they did mot it for me and I would assume it would of failed had it been decatted? Fyi: HFC's are not De-Cats. It stands for High Flow Cats. Basically similar to standard Cats but just higher flowing AKA sports Cats.
  12. Haven't taken anyone out in mine for a spin. The only person that's been in it with me is the Mrs and she's pretty used to the powerful cars I've owned since we've been together (11 years). In fact it's quite impressive sometimes how when going quickly in cars she can still pay not the slightest bit of attention to what's happening and continue to read her book or look at her phone.
  13. Sure sounds like it should be easy *famous last words*.
  14. Definitely a good idea to get a mechanic to look at it I'd say especially if you're worried. The thing is if it is the clutch release bearing as I suspect then to replace it you will need the gearbox off etc so that's going to be expensive. If you do need to get the bearing replaced and your clutch/flywheel are old or worn then it's best to get them changed at the same time rather than have to pay the labour again if/when the clutch goes in the future. The bearing though could last thousands of miles before it finally goes, ...you'll know when it goes as your clutch pedal will more than likely just go to the floor & you won't be able to select gears. If you do need a clutch/flywheel/bearing etc then don't forget Clark Motorsport, Tarmac Sportz, TORQEN etc on here can all help for more than likely less than the price of OEM equipment from Nissan. Still let your mechanic have a look and see what he says ~ always difficult to diagnose problems over the net just described by noises/feelings.
  15. Sounds good, ...get some pictures of the process in action if you can. Whatever you do I'm just going to copy anyway. Just make sure you get the full load in there, 4oz's worth.
  16. Try a PM to Mitz at the Cougar Store as he helped me when deciding on tyres/offsets for my Zed. He's in the traders section.
