  1. That's good news again then & fast too. Get some pictures up of your new ride if you can & enjoy it.
  2. ^^ Aaahhh the old "jazz hands" working overtime. Well at least you didn't spin. Can't wait to see some of the Jedi in action gonna be great.
  3. Sidelights are a PITA to do fyi Alex. Best way I found was, for example when doing the drivers side headlight: Turn the steering wheel/front wheels all the way to the left, remove wheel arch retaining screw and bolts from lower part, pull the wheel arch backwards (preferably with someone else helping to hold it back), then you should be able to see the back of the sidelight bulb position & it's wiring. Twist out fitting and remove the old bulb from the holder. Replace with new LED bulb, then check polarity is correct & it works before doing reverse to refit everything back together. Passenger side is the same process but just with the steering wheel/front wheels all the way to the right.
  4. I'm not a fan of these eyelids and tbh I think they'll look better on your car if they're painted the same colour as the body. If you like them though that's all that matters.
  5. Look's good Stu although those Rockingham walls come up fast. I notice you where topping out down the main straight, ...what speed was that then? Could maybe do with a longer top gear for that circuit I guess although I'm sure it helps make you quicker around the twisty bit's with the shorter ratio.
  6. Finally a name I actually recognise. Happy Birthday Matt.
  7. Welcome aboard Colin. Any pics of the 260Z? I'm guessing if so they'd be from a 35mm film camera but you could always take a picture of the photograph with a digital camera and post it on here that way. One of the other members on here is currently restoring a 240Z in case you're interested: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88297-darren-bs-1971-240z-project-pumpkin/
  8. Very happy for you, ...what a great result.
  9. Just noticed there is the new "Street Outlaws" series on afterwards (10pm). Now that is an interesting show, ...can't beat a bit of US style illegal street drag racing with ridiculously powerful V8 monsters on rural highways.
  10. Thanks for that PPod. If you do want to do it you know it's not going to be cheap so start saving now is a good idea and just see how you feel about doing it in a year or so. That way either you'll have part of the money you need to get the Zed supercharged or at least a good sum of cash towards your next mod or possibly a change of car if that's how you feel. Chop Chop! Give me a shout when you decide to do some track days, and I'll tag along Considering one next month at Castle Combe but just biding my time at the mo. Will let you know if I do book one though to see if anyone else is going.
  11. I knew that green would feature in there somewhere.
  12. I looked on eBay for it earlier but couldn't find it. The only listing I thought it might be had no pictures so I couldn't be sure. This one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-350-z-/171728994106?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27fbd87f3a
  13. I forget what you're building now Andy?! Oh well, going to be great by the looks of it anyway.
  14. Definitely something to consider. Might have to get the external mic for it then but something for the future I think at the mo. Glad you liked it. @jumping350 ~ You should hurry up and get yours done so that you can enjoy it in the summer then. Sure yours is going to be awesome.
  15. I take it you've asked Adrian@TORQEN have you? ...or are you looking for something used & a little cheaper?
  16. I'd forget eBay for things like this unless it's from a trusted supplier & the genuine article. Have a look at Tarmac Sportz as Alex said is what I'd do.
  17. I wish I'd read this thread earlier. Very good BM. No UpRev done then performance mods mean diddly squat sorry Op.
  18. Have to say the rear spoiler you have and that re-trimmed flat bottom steering wheel are my favourite mods that you've done. Great stuff.
  19. Cheers both. Just need to get some track time now to really be able to get the most from the car & enjoy it.
  20. Did a fly by yesterday in the warmer weather, ...not quite full throttle but not far off. It's in my Youtube channel if you want to see it. Really lets you hear the by pass valve nicely I think although the exhaust note sounds better at a slightly higher rpm which I didn't come close to. Going to stop from doing anymore GoPro videos for now as hopefully I will be doing a track day this year which will make for better footage as I will be able to really go WOT. Edit: Link added.
