  1. A "Fairlady Z33" is the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) version of the UK "350Z".
  2. The Veilside looks pretty good on your car Darryl. Pulling it off nicely.
  3. ^^ Love the Cuda Matt. Although if I was to go for that then I'd want the "AAR" version. Loved that car since I saw it in a book years ago.
  4. ^^ Nice courtesy car Spatt, ...bit like when I had my car in a body shop here and they gave me a Porsche Boxster S as the courtesy car. Much better than a Micra or KA.
  5. Looks really good. She must be pleased with that.
  6. Alloys look pretty good, ...probably will look better when the cars lowered a tad though.
  7. Love this picture as your car looks tiny so it gives a great perspective of the size/width of the track & slope. Great pictures.
  8. Never easy getting paint to match especially on older cars so kudos for getting it so close.
  9. Did you find anything? £80 full system here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98090-oem-exhaust-and-y-pipe/ £220 Scorpion exhaust: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94947-stillen-y-pipe-and-scorpion-exhaust/ Worth a PM to see if either are still for sale. Fyi ~ that is a common place for the exhausts to go on the 350's. It's exactly where mine went some years ago but as I was keeping mine I went for a new full stainless steel system from Invidia.
  10. Very nice and the colour match is great.
  11. Shouldn't we just join "Grinder" for that sort of thing. Lol. Think I'll just bow down and give you the win. See even that sounds gay now.
  12. ^^ Take the money Alize. An enthusiast can still buy your car from Junction 17, ...they'll just have to pay a little more for it.
  13. Yep I'm sure you're correct. I do think however any colour on a 5-10+ year old car will be hard to match perfectly. If the kids Mum is paying then you're probably right to go down the respray route from a decent body shop rather than "Chips Away". Probably still going to be trouble getting everything to match perfectly though.

That's a good bonus then. Mine just came with a rusty OEM exhaust when I bought it.
  15. Zed looks great, apart from the bug splats of course but they'll wash off, ...and great location for some pics.
  16. I think the advantage of debadging the rear of the 350 is that it's not recessed like the 370 and looks so much cleaner without the burger! Oh I've still got the "Nissan" burger badge, ...it's just the "350 Z" part I've taken off. Makes the rear look more symmetrical (helps my OCD).
  17. I don't know Adrian as zoomed in it doesn't look great but tbh I'd try "Chips Away" or similar first before I went down the full respray route. Good luck.
  18. Looks great Durk. Good job.
  19. Not really, ...all depends on year/mileage etc. I actually looked on Pistonheads & Autotrader to find my prices based on current ones for sale. Link: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201506274691944?radius=1501&make=nissan&search-target=usedcars&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&model=gt-r&postcode=cf158rl&sort=priceasc&channel=cars&page=1&logcode=p ...and that's not even the cheapest one on there.
  20. Think they're the same. Just the 'stretch' on the fabric is different maybe and distorting the z? But hey.. Who cares! Yep could be that. But still look different, no? Oh yeah.

Then personally I'd go for the Ultra Racing one I linked then. Cheaper than OEM and will look pretty good underneath the car too which is a bonus.
  22. Cheers for that Stevo. Great weather there too by the looks of it.

Good job Chris, ...seen that in your build thread but can't remember now if I commented or not to say you did a good job.
  24. I'm just going to leave this videos here for you.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0IWtfpdxQc I by no means think Wales has the best roads or anything but just another option for you to consider if you haven't been before.
