Welcome aboard. Re: the clutch. Just treat it like buying any secondhand car & check as best you can to whether the clutch is slipping or not when you test drive the car. My old '03 350Z was on 95K miles, supercharged with 436bhp and was still on it's original OEM clutch when I sold it. There is no certainty to when an OEM clutch will go at all as there are so many variables involved. Eg How the car has been driven etc. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...-clutch-lasted/ Lots & lots of us members use our Zeds in anger on trackdays etc but the most recognised owner for doing hill climbing I'd say is Andy James. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...ack-day-season/ Personally I wouldn't get an auto box especially not in a 350 but that's up to you. More info here: http://www.350z-uk.c...6-buyers-guide/ http://www.350z-uk.c...uding-upgrades/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-zed-on-95-ron/ http://www.350z-uk.c...tential-buyers/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-must-read-wip/ Also a good idea to have a good read of the service schedule for the 350 so that when you look at cars you know whether or not the servicing has been kept up to date depending on mileage/age of the car. Nice, ...going to share what you've gone for then or is it a surprise?. Oh and your "off" at Rockingham was disappointing. At least spin it in a circle or something next time won't you.

he was following me i made the turn he didnt he has it on video Wouldn't mind seeing that. Great pictures Matt and really liked that black n' white shot with the Zed peaking out from behind the tree.

Very nice Ryan. As Stu said, ....pictures are perfect size.

Personally I wouldn't bother with any of them. Not when we have a trusted trader on here selling a basically identical exhaust to what you're after.... Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98909-350z-hi-power-style-true-dual-exhausts-pre-orders-being-taken-450/ Hope that helps.

Masa I think Andy (tattooandy67) makes his own coils so it might be worth asking him about that if you're interested in getting into that.
-
I just heard Ian's selling some parts separate, ....the exhaust is £10,999 plus £1 delivery charge, ...do you still want it? Comes with a free Zed. GLWTS Ian.

Totally understand were you're coming from Ian. I've almost been knocked down a few times by di**head cyclists on pavements & flying through the works car park as a short cut. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do, ...the Police do nothing about it so what can we do? I've seen cyclists running countless red lights, riding drunk, no lights at night etc etc but as they don't have any number plates on their bikes there is nothing I can do about any of that either. My advice is just to bottle the rage until one day it all comes spewing out in an uncontrollable outburst, ...what's the worst that could happen?!

I'm the same, ...love building models & R/c kits etc. The only reason I've the drone I've got though is because I got it as a gift from the Mrs and tbf it's been great as my flying skills have greatly improved from using this drone. A guy I used to work with has built his own drone though from scratch pretty much and he mounts a GoPro to it for flight recording. He opted for early retirement some years ago but when he was in work we 3D printed a few parts for him for his drone as a favour. He does have some videos on Youtube but I can't remember what name or tag line they're under. If I see him I'll ask him. Some sites of interest: http://myfirstdrone.com/ http://diydrones.com/ http://www.buildyourowndrone.co.uk/

Nice replacement for the Zed. Share some pictures of the M4 if you don't mind when you get it.

Hi Jimboy, I've got a fairly cheap drone but it is always a good laugh flying it plus it can record video & take pictures. It's great for a beginner to start with though... About £50-£70 odd for one like that I'd guess (my Mrs bought it so have no idea on the exact price). Another thread on drones here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94393-what-drone/ I will be upgrading in the future to a proper drone that I can attach my GoPro camera too though. Got to get my house all sorted firstly though before I start looking at buying "big boys toys". Check these videos below out though for what a drone can really do....

Aspiring Zed owner! New here! :)
GMballistic replied to chreewebb's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
I'd say maybe somewhere in the ball park of £6K to £8K odd but that is purely a guess and it will depend obviously on car condition, mileage, spec etc. Don't forget to check on here for Zeds for sale: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Welcome aboard btw. -

Welcome aboard, ....looks like a great Zed. -
Yep. Heard about it on the radio earlier and was shocked & saddened. RIP.
-
I would say what you could try is to see how low you can get the MPG on the way back but I'd hate for you to get pulled by the rozzers.
-
The ECU reset AFAIK will just do the exact same thing your code reader is doing now so it sounds like the fault needs attention to me. If your Cat/s have gone then you could always try getting a good condition used set from zmanalex on here which will probably be your cheapest option. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Otherwise a new OEM set will be just as much as an aftermarket set of HFC's (high flow cat's) so you'd probably be better getting the HFC's as at least they'll be stainless steel & add a nice sound to the Zed as well as being more free flowing (...but then if you're selling it, probably not what you'd want to do). Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99333-torqen-350z-de-berk-high-flow-cats/ The thing is though I cannot tell you whether it is a problem with your Cat or your O2 sensors so I'd be inclined to get a garage to look at it to diagnose the fault. If you do need good used parts though for a "cheaper" fix then I highly recommend you try Alex (zmanalex).

Good for you Graham (great of you to adopt a rescue Cat) and good for Bertie too I'm sure.
