  2. Finally finished it Now to download the instructions for the 2nd version
  3. Happy days mate, look forward to a full report later on Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear
  4. Maybe it's his birthday and he's out celebrating
  5. Ha, now I know you're really excited ^ God help the neighbours
  6. Wasso is a pro and makes everything look awesome in the end, maybe I'm just lazy and look for the easiest not the best option I agree with you, I've been looking at the Alpine stuff which almost replicates what Ian is doing but Ian has always been very particular about his sound system and I can see why he would do this and it's a brilliant bit of work but I think, like you, I woud go the easy option.
  7. That That's all well and good but it's not made by Wasso Industries
  8. Just to reiterate that, I left at around 1615 and, the gearbox and new lump had been "married" so to speak, to have the whole thing back in by 1730 and waiting for the rad etc is pretty good going in my book.
  9. It's quite straight forward when people who KNOW what they are doing get involved It was a good day in great company, some amusing banter too. Brilliant to catch up with people I hadn't seen since the summer. The comradeship of this place is really quite remarkable
  10. Legoitis!!! That is all.
  11. Moral support and motivational coaching i was busy admiring grundy's headwear! Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear
  12. Excellent news!! I bet Matt can't stop smiling, mind you, nothing more than he deserves
  13. "It was also a good chance to inspect the Brembo's pads/disks, all of which look good - Again somewhat annoyingly as I was itching for an excuse to fit drilled/slotted discs!" You don't need an excuse, you officially have Zeditis.
  14. Yes, it was really a nice change from sitting around eating and drinking all day Respect to Chris, Bob and Kim, oh and their sleepy helper Dave, lost count of the number of times he dozed off under the car
  15. I popped down today and it was good to see you all, it's fair to say that Matt did a pretty good job of trashing his lump, he managed to put 2 holes in the block, one each side and, threw a con rod and separated the piston from it too. Some head damage as there was asubstantial amount of oil in the plenum. Quite possibley the worst I've ever seen. Anyway here are some pix, I'm sure these will be added to as I left before the new lump went in Out with the old The damage
  16. Is it me or does the front view look a bit Volvoesque?
  17. No sympathy here either, this company have been around for years and were one of the first big players in this market, they could have cleaned up to a certain extent but were lazy and sat on their laurels for too long. They were a customer of ours for some time and to be quite honest it was painful, on top of that they have sustained substantial losses for the last few years and have swallowed £40 million in the last 18 months or so from new investors!!! Do feel sorry for the staff of course but it must have been a complete buggers muddle for them to go into administration on Christmas Day!!
