  1. Another key point I should mention in all this is that if your car is needing the Flywheel (Nissan DMF) then you maybe waiting a while as Nissan have no stock UK Europe and massive back orders in Japan. I personally would recommend the opinion of a Zed specialist example - Horsham Developments and Abbey Motorsport closest to your area. They would also know which Nissan dealers not to take it to. And point you in the direction of a Nissan dealer that would be helpful,
  2. ** Warning ** If you are going to take your car to this particular Nissan Dealer I would forget any idea of them fitting an uprated clutch and be very concerned in them actually fitting an OEM kit correctly. Not here to name and shame or go into to detail in this matter. Your gut feeling is usually the right one!
  3. Tricky one, I can see this from your side, if the failure is due to components and not abuse/miss use then you would hope they would put this right. If you do end up going down the route of the uprated clutch and flywheel then I would tread carefully of getting a Nissan main dealer to fit this as 9 times out of 10 they prove to be less then helpful in my opinion.
  4. Nissan globally are suffering massive back orders with the OEM SMF and combined with the massive price tag along with the stock situation we have upped the stock on our Xtreme HR/370Z kits, Which are available from stock, next day from us. The price for this kit is £1128.00 Delivered to UK mainland. Any questions or for more information please contact us.
  5. We keep them in stock Fronts http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Brake-Pad-Shims--Front/112814 Rears http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Brake-Pad-Shims--Rear/112813
  6. In answer to your question is it worth going for the lightweight flywheel then yes as the SMF would ultimately fail as will the OEM CSC as they are prone to failure and will eventually with more miles on. Most cases we see the flywheel failing before the clutch has actually worn out. The SMF has performance benefits for sure but the key is reliability. That is something you cannot be sure of with the Nissan unit. If you want to eliminate these problems for future reference please see the link of the Xtreme Clutch kit that overcomes the CSC and DMF failures.... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92517-new-release-xtreme-clutch-kit-inc-smf-and-csc-solution-350z-hr-and-370z/ For now I would either as mentioned pop a new CSC and hose on or if Jez discovers something a little more sinister then speak to him on how best to overcome this and find yourself some trouble free motoring
  7. Hi Alex the flywheel is just over the 7kg mark which is around the optimum weight Xtreme had found for a road going kit with the VQ35DE engine. It is considered to be much quieter over other SMF brands making it a popular kt for Zed owners
  8. Hi Sorry to hear your troubles, quick question does it do this only when shifting at high revs? Or do you get the slipping affect when pushing the car in between gears in say 4th or 5th? Regards Rich
  9. We keep the new boot springs in stock for £29.94 each plus shipping
  10. We have got one of those but it would have to be second hand
  11. Sorry not with this kit. It does however come with a mounting bracket (not shown in this image) Rich

  15. Every chance that if the clutch was previously replaced that the flywheel wasn't replaced and that would explain the judder, If you know the history and it has never been changed then it's at the miles to be due a clutch. We offer OEM replacement kits and our own Xtreme Clutch brand which offer a full Dual mass replacement to with the Solid Mass Flywheel. More info can be found here.... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95545-new-xtreme-clutch-organic-inc-smf-350z-de/ You can see the feedback of people that have gone for the kit and also all technical info. 16. Just to let everyone know I am off to Mexico for two weeks tomorrow to get married! While i'm gone Rich will be running things so business as usual but please bear with him as he will be extremely busy so PM's may take longer to reply to. If you are in desperate need for something then the phone will be the quickest way to get a response
  17. Yes it is, PM on its way
  18. We have them in stock and can match that price, get in touch if you want to go ahead
  19. Its also worth considering replacing your slave cylinder and fitting a braided line with some uprated fluid if this has not already been done.
  20. If sticking with an OEM setup we supply the LUK Dual mass flywheel with OEM Exedy clutch kit for £550 For an upgrade the Xtreme Clutch kit with single mass flywheel we sell is very popular and will support future mods while still being usable every day. We have supplied this kit to people running standard cars to guys running super chargers. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95545-new-xtreme-clutch-organic-inc-smf-350z-de/ There are other options we can supply like the 200mm twin plate but from what you have said that would be overkill. Let me know if you need any further advise
  21. As Alex says a quick Google reveals all you need to know about them, that link I posted has at least two pages worth of horror stories.
  22. I can supply a genuine LUK flywheel along wit ha genuine Exedy clutch with the correct Koyo bearing (not all kits include this some have a Chinese bearing) for £550. In stock for next day delivery.
  23. We can supply the genuine LUK flywheel and Exedy clutch kit. If you are unsure of the SMF noise and only use the car for general road use then the DMF is possibly the better option for you. The LUK clutch and flywheel listed on eBay at £350 is best avoided, https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=techniclutch&oq=techniclutch+&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.4488j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=0&ie=UTF-8
