  1. I get what you are saying but to be fair the OP said he is looking for discs and I would assume the ones currently on the car are needing replaced. He has also stated its for fast road use, if someone comes to me for discs for normal road use I would recommend the Pagid discs but if its fast road then I think an uprated disc of good quality that will cope with the higher temperatures reached from someone pushing on is a sensible move. We sell plenty of DS2500 pads but for purely fast road use I would say they are overkill hence I recommend the Hawks or Brembo Sport. Sam did mention the Ferodos I do agree with you that fresh fluid is a good idea and braided hoses will improve pedal feel. Regarding the member recommending a trader I assume you are talking about Alex? If so we are not affiliated in an way we bought over stock from Alex two years ago but there is no connection now although I would class Alex as a friend
  2. What difference is there between the t2 and t3? I am definitely going change to the braided lines at some point. Heard some good things about the DS2500 pads but not sure whether these are overkill for the road? Both the T2 disc and T3 disc are made of the same high quality cast iron that DBA use, the T3 goes through a further heat treatment process which allows it to deal with higher temperatures experienced on track. Both feature the Kangaroo paw ventilation system which makes them deal with higher temperatures compared to conventional straight veined discs.
  3. Once you SORN something now it remains until you re-tax or sell the car.
  4. I have a competition clutch stage 1 kit with lightweight flywheel that's only covered a couple of thousand miles, get in touch if you are interested.
  5. We can supply the OEM Exedy kit with a single mass flywheel if you don't want to stretch to the Xtreme kit. We can also supply the LUK dual mass flywheel with the Exedy kit and will match any genuine online price for the same product
  6. The main thing to keep in mind is cast iron quality. Cheap discs use a low quality cast iron compared to the higher end brands so slotted does not mean they are automatically a better disc. The eBay specials around nowadays are all just cheap blank discs with slots and or drill holes that are mainly there for looks only. Brembo Sport, DBA, PF etc that have been mentioned are all made from high quality cast iron hence the higher price.
  7. Thanks AliveBoy We have the Mishimoto in stock, its a plug and play replacement for the troublesome OEM fans and improves cooling which is a bonus.
  8. Would agree with that not a good choice if you don't enjoy cleaning wheels
  9. Agree with Docwra regarding EBC, they are good at marketing but that's about it. Yellow stuff are reasonable enough for the road but for the price you might as well get the Hawk PC's which are a far superior pad
  10. Hawk pads are not EC approved so fall into the same category as the Ferodo. That being said I have never heard of anyone having issues running race spec pads on a road car. A great alternative that is road legal and still a good pad for track work is the Brembo Sport which we can supply. For a disc that will stand up to the extra heat generated on track the T3 from DBA is a great choice. The slot design will not tear up the pad surface in anyway. There are other more suitable pad options that are track bias but by the sounds of things you need a good all rounder.
  11. But its for free Anyway would look like this: https://www.autobarn.com.au/dba-single-4000-series-xs-premium-cross-drilled-slotted-sp39947
  12. It would be an old Subaru disc Mike wit ha 5x100 PCD. As Alex says got to be worth just getting it and having a play around you could always re-drill it
  13. Yes we can send to Germany no problem, I will get a shipping price and send you over a quote.
  14. No nothing wrong with genuine LUK kits they are OEM manufacutres for Nissan and a host of others. We supply genuine LUK and Exedy as do Cougar Store and Tarmac. If you are looking to move away from the heavy OEM dual mass flywheel then this kit is well worth a look: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95545-new-xtreme-clutch-organic-inc-smf-350z-de/page__hl__xtreme
  15. Google Techniclutch and see how many horror stories you find. How that company still manages to trade on eBay with the counterfeit kits it sells is beyond me. If its to good to be true it often is
  16. Its expensive stuff it would be £200 for 11 liters for genuine Nissan fluid
  17. It improves throttle response yes due to the lighter weight of the single mass flywheel. Do you mean does it increases the idle speed? If not no that remains the same.
  18. Hi Adam We keep a number of different options including the Exedy kit on the shelf for next day delivery. Get in touch I would be happy to go through the options with you. This is our best selling kit for the DE: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95545-new-xtreme-clutch-organic-inc-smf-350z-de/page__hl__xtreme
  19. You're definitely in the minority there but glad to hear they have at least one happy customer
  20. We bought the equipment outright which makes it a lot cheaper in the long run. I'm looking at it from a business prospective though for personal use it would be a fair bit more expensive than regular broadband. But if the service is that bad and there is no there option you don;t really have a lot of choice.
  21. I would agree with that, we also looked into it but sadly there is no good 4G signal here.
  22. This is same sort of thing I hear from anyone that's ever had to deal with them!
  23. As you can imagine we get a lot of rain here and only once has it lost signal and that was for less than a minute. Other than that its been perfect. Its getting on 5 months that we have had it now. Compared to the amount of times the regular broadband used to drop out sometimes for hours which was a nightmare when you are trying to run a business.
