Unfortunately, manufacturers put YEARS of research into all aspects of a car to bring them into line with one another and to make the car a cohesive unit. Exhausts are developed by trained technicians and MILLIONS are spent on getting each one just right, switching parts in and out all the way until the perfect combination is achieved. Your average aftermarket brands just can't do this, they'd have to charge so much they wouldn't sell any exhausts. The f-type actually has a switch for the exhaust to change it between loud and manageable. Without splashing out a couple of thousand on something like an invidia, borla or magnaflow, you're going to have to compromise somewhere down the line. You could get a slightly noisy exhaust and quieten it down with removable baffles, not have the exact sound you want or get used to some cabin drone. Or I suppose you could stump up the extra cash and pay someone to make the f-type exhaust fit the Z? However, that might well be a pointless exercise as there's so many intake/engine/manifold/exhaust variables which could affect it you'd just be chasing a pipe dream. The only real way to get that noise is to buy an F-Type I'm afraid

If you gently rub a finger nail across the scratch, does it catch on it? If it does, chances are that the scratch has gone the whole way through the paint and you'd need a smart repair to sort it out. A picture would be useful for some forum diagnosis

Thanks" As with every microphone changing the sound, every speaker will too, as will every persons ear interpreting the noise. The best option for you would be to go to a meet and listen to lots of different 350's and then ask the owners of the noise you like most how they've achieved it.

Almost had a car done in Nimbus grey, but from memory be very careful, i think its an Audi colour and they offered different variations, i got some rattle cans mixed up from a paint supplier with a few colour options and the nimbus grey one i got was very bluey/green, ive got the code somewhere if you want it yea its VAG colour VAG colour..... that could be awkward doing a colour match at B&Q Sent from the golf club... If you ask them enough they'll sell you a polestar one. At Goodwood last year on the moving motorshow day Volvo had the S40 polestar going up the hill, it was easily the best sounding car of the day, ferrari's etc included.

We had 13 scouts in Woking district get their Queen Scout award this year, it's the highest number from any district at one time in the UK and 7 were from the unit I help at. As part of it they have to show improvement at a skill, so many take up new ones. One of the girls took up kayaking and is now in the junior team GB on track for the next olympics. It's amazing what they can do if pushed in the right way.
