  1. BSD goes on nicest IMO when the paint is still wet from your wash and you're doing the drying, eliminates its inherent grabiness and leaves a nice finish.
  2. Posting up what you want to do in here instead of getting an approved swap is not the solution. I suggest a bit of named paper with the tips (or as much as you can show) would suffice. We wouldn't usually expect it to have to come off first.
  3. Cool build! I've got one but the most interesting thing it's done is briefly run RISC OS, to remind me of my youth, and it's now running XBMC. I wanted it to do so much more...
  4. I didn't know that about FL
  5. Fairy liquid would strip everything off but you'll have to wear a funny hat and sit on the naughty step if people catch you using it!
  6. I'm very happy they're landing with you all. Thanks for the positive comments and PMs If anyone has any feedback (even the bad kind) or suggestions, do post up or PM. I'll try and make relevant notes now so that it can be looked at when we get around to 2018.
  7. If you want to shift old product a diluted IPA wipe down should lift anything left behind. Or a product that does the same thing. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-prep-cat9.html You could also use a dedicated paint cleanser. http://car-chem.com/store/pre-wax-cleaner-250 http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/dodo-juice/lime-prime-lite.aspx Or you could use a decon shampoo during the wash. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?msg=&catalogId=10151&DM_PersistentCookieCreated=true&langId=-1&categoryId=165682&productId=804711&storeId=10001 TBH I'm quite lazy about this sort of thing so I'd just use my regular shampoo at much higher concentrate than usual and then clay, if needed. Then some Gyeon prep after polish to remove any residue.
  8. 54 million Ugandan dollars or £349.50
  9. Oooooh, alright my loves. How much for the light weight battery? £120 you say. Higher? Higher? Lower? I'm going with £130 Bruce.
  10. I read a few articles that after Brexit there'd be an extra £350m for the NHS I prefer foamier shampoos simply because the more suds there are, the more lube there is on the mitt/paint and they seem to suspend and move the dirt along nicely, almost like snow foam but for the wash stage.
  11. RS Tuning in Leeds also I think
  12. Yeah, but Apps were super useful before they got good at making web pages render properly on small screens and phone screens grew. If you think of the early iphone days when mobile data speeds were slow and web pages were a PITA to view on a phone screen, apps made it quicker and more easy to interact with. However, a quality modern website should now render fine on a 5" screen and also a 27" screen, diminishing the need for apps for some types of site - unless the app offers something unique that the web app doesn't, like fingerprint login or integration with other services.
  13. Hard cash or leave, no one dislikes those things. Anything else, booze, spa, vouchers whatever, you run the risk of giving them something that you might see as great but to them maybe totally useless. Positive reinforcement is always very much appreciated, when it's sincere, too.
  14. Yeah but, why would you bother with the app? You can just pop an icon on your home screen so it looks and opens like an app but the site has more features than the app and you don't need to install it. It's win win!
  15. Meh, I didn't achieve wood with Bathe+, the suds don't last long enough. Though it is still quite slippy even once the suds have gone and it's my number two shampoo, after AMMO Foam.
  16. If it's just about results, ease of use or an anything that works product, Gyeon wetcoat wees all over everything IMHO.
  17. I will if they don't even offer the most basic of functionality I'll do a YouTube video for the older members Imgur site and app were a bit unfamiliar, and occasionally faffy to get bbcode links, but once I got used to it, it's way snappier.
  18. I think Michael Fassbender would be an excellent pint companion, also Johnny Depp. In terms of the fairer sex, I'd enjoy an evening failing to pull Penelope Cruz and Kate Beckinsale, both of which I think would be tremendous fun.
  19. Got home today to find the Desk calendars have arrived this morning I'll see if I can catch today's post... Edit: half made tonight, half tomorrow AM
