Kinda missing the point of how cool they look when down, not up!

Whilst in for a service, saw this old thing knocking about. Is it just me who is surprised by how crazy low the NSX is, made the Zed look like a Transit Why did pop up lights ever go out of fashion, cool as ****. Engine bay could benefit from some TLC. Ooooohhhhhh my. Never seen one in real life before, super cool and mint inside too - very nice piece of JDM ass. A Tokyo fresh GTT in as well for Turbo action. Interesting rims and colour...

It was out 4 year anniversary on Tuesday, so I've only gone and treated her to a service. Also gave the polished plenum a spruce up whilst the cam covers were being done. All work done at Grinspeed in Leyland, cracking service as usual and it's made the 4 years of ownership much more relaxing having a quality tech to look after her. I've also got a more fun gift for her, once the bits come back from the paint shop. Pictures to follow once fitted.

I think i'm in love with Imgur on desktop with ABP. Really clean and easy.

I occasionally order some from the US if you fancy going halves on shipping some time.

Wow, that's a lot of purple!

If you've been to all ports of call, what did google say then?

I can't quite understand why you're not getting very far with this, despite a commendable attitude. Probably some sort of wider conspiracy involving foreign nationals. On the off chance it's not that, instead of stropping, why not try either the previously well recommended Samsung support, or possibly Google support.

Engine Bay Cleaning and Detailing Tips Needed
Stutopia replied to mammoth200's topic in Car Detailing
No probs. None of this is expensive and you will always be able to reuse it in future - except the microfibres, which will effectively be disposable for this job. Some of the very experienced detailing members will be along shortly with more/better info. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86213-engine-bay-detailing-advice-please/ -
Engine Bay Cleaning and Detailing Tips Needed
Stutopia replied to mammoth200's topic in Car Detailing
I'd leave the pressure washer in it's holster if you're not confident about sealing off the bits that won't play with water. The major ingredient in cleaning the engine bay is free, which is good, because you need ****loads of it - elbow grease. Also get yourself a huge bag of cheap as chips microfibres, some gloves, a good degreaser, a small brush, possibly a toothbrush too, at least one bucket and some warm soapy water. If you really want to go at it, carb cleaner shifts almost anything but use sparingly and I would rinse and wipe the area after you've used it. You may wish to go for a short drive first and get some warmth into the filth and soften it, but you obviously don't want a HOT engine. Personally I'd then start with warm soapy water on microfibre towels to shift the loose debris. A small hand held water spray might be useful for rinsing, but you don't want to be slopping water around, just ring the microfibre out before each pass, rinse it off, repeat ad nauseum. Once you've shifted the big stuff, I'd go after the grime with dregreaser and more microfibres and the brush on the really stubborn bits. Then, if there's anything left and you're not knackered, break out the carb cleaner and yet more microfibres and perhaps even smaller things like cotton buds to really go at the nooks and crannies. Once you're happy, look at some plastic protectors to seal the trim - if you do it right once, you should only ever need to keep wiping it as part of the normal wash. Could be cam cover around the plugs, quite common.

As above. Do every fluid, both filters, belts and plugs.

Those are the words of a professional. Who knew there were kinds of stitching.

If they are in bad shape already, definitely worth a go your self. I used metal polish and a DA. Whatever you do, afterwards, get some strong UV protection/coating on there.

I think it's 16mm on the early 350z. Been looking for one myself as a go pro mount, not had much luck, but there's some cheapo ones on eBay and Amazon if all you want is one for show. I can't be certain all 16mm fit as I can't find the thread pitch. Try a PM to Zmanalex, he'll know and probably have one good to go.

If it's sold as a 350 kit, get on to Mishi and demand a hose that fits

Happy 50th Also what Will said. Hope you get 5 minutes of peace to enjoy it.

Lightning strike, she didn't stand a chance, nicely done sir. Without going too nanny state, with the cold and wet weather and the switch to rear wheel drive, enjoy your new charge safely, I nearly got bitten on week 1!

From the motordyne sales pitch "The Motordyne Iso Thermal plenum spacer adds 12HP-14HP and reduces the effect of power robbing heat soak by thermally isolating both the upper and lower plenum. Its 5/16″ thickness provides the best overall performance and is fully compatible with your engine cover and strut bar. All Motordyne Iso Thermal systems keep your upper and lower plenum cooler without the risk of throttle body freezing when driving in cold weather."

Might be worth popping in to a local body shop. At least then they should have insurance if your rig decapitates a innocent convertible driver on the M1. I can't image they'll charge you much just to stick it on. Edit: all my aftermarket bits (diffuser, spoiler, spats) the body shop used sicaflex. They don't budge a centimetre.

I'd be all over that if it came back in fashion. +1 I'd love to have my old orange/yellow/purple t-shirt back again. That was effin' awesome. https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Mens-Tops-T-Shirts/Unisex-Orange-White-Sensitive-Shirt-Global-Technacolour/B01GKKZEC2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1485966316&sr=8-4&keywords=Global%2BTechnacolour&th=1&psc=1
