  1. Meet the Team. https://www.350z-uk.com/staff/
  2. Col has decided to hang up his moderating gloves and concentrate on his mud running career. As well as the normal moderator duties, which take a good deal of commitment in of themselves, Col has had the job of looking after the Forum Traders. This is a critical role because it's Trader Fees that keep the lights on and the forum free to Members - our founding principle. Not only has Col put in countless hours looking after that, he's put time in improving it and making life easier for existing and future mods. Huge thanks from me personally, but also on behalf of the whole Forum for giving up your time to make the place better.
  3. Only if they wanted me to bang on about beating all the FI zeds in my underpowered BRZ on the CAT driver training day.
  4. Subscribed! There’s a strong possibility the Mustang is next on my list, so it’d be good to catch Stangitis nice and early. I love the look of Tredwear letters but they are a royal pain to maintain. Some sort of white tyre pen you can touch them up with would be ace. Keep well away from curbs as long as you can.
  5. Someone will pick up the parts business in the break up, there's going to be plenty of money to make if you're the only one with the licence to make parts. It's not like you can't buy Saab bits any more, plus they know the Tesla buyers are good to pay $$$ for parts.
  6. Will a second hand door colour match on cars of this age where the paint has been exposed to the elements for so long? You can always for the price of a door.
  7. I heard he drives a 5 door French saloon these days and washes it with fairy liquid.
  8. Good on you for owning up
  9. Like the video, nicely put together, like the lights too. Not sure about the presenter though
  10. If we're gonna help here, I think we need a pic of this boot diffuser.
  11. Great effort mate, good on ya.
  12. The MTEC shift springs mod is extremely popular over in BRZ land, so much so I’m thinking of chucking a few quid at it. Transformative apparently. Hope you find the same.
  13. All the best people fit them upside down at least once
  14. Shame you left all that wasted green space, feels like there’s room for one more bay???
  15. Those bolts seem heavy for unsprung mass...
  16. That sounds amazing at the back end.
  17. Did you call a terror hotline and give them their registration? edit: too late
  18. Without being defeatist in the face of competition from Facebook (and it’s Russian robots) I don’t think forums in general can compete with the ease and accessibility of FB, I got talking to a Mustang owner about his mods yesterday and he was telling that me that “you can go on Facebook and get info on things”, which I think we all appreciate is a useful and easy thing for people who maybe won’t go the extra yard to join a forum. Where I do think we can not only compete with FB but out perform it, is the quality of content we can support. More in depth information with proper guides, longer posts with more content, easier to find critical info, more nuanced and interesting back and forth discussions over technical issues, and (without being too snobby about things) I genuinely believe that making a bit more effort to log into and contribute on a forum actually means we filter out a lot of the noise that comes from FB being so accessible. Anyone remember when myspace was the only social media platform? Where are they now? For clarity for anyone reading who disagrees with me, this is how I feel about it as a Forum Member, not a reflection of The Team’s position.
  19. Beat me to it.
  20. The permissions have changed over time. Certain posts may have been influencing factors on removing that ability.
  21. Thanks for the comments Kyle, a good deal of your reasoning is how we had the previous format. Where we’ve got a natural barrier, like the Irish Sea, it makes a lot of sense. It’s not easy to nip over the pond on a whim for a meet. Where you’ve mentioned Facebook, is that with regard to Regional Facebook clubs or the National Single Marque ones? The reason I ask is that I tend to follow club pages on FB, but I don’t go looking for local ones.
  22. No worries mate. There were a couple of permissions issues that I believe are fixed. Historically only The Team could post and reply in there, it’s now possible for everyone to reply, we’ll trial this for a while and see how it goes.
