  1. Do love an Aston but that mouth is huuuuuge!
  2. Get a grip or it's points all around. There's a report button for stuff that you think is OTT, you don't need to take people to task if you think they're out of line. Thread tidied.
  3. Things I have handy to use: chainsaw pressure washer raspberry pi knackered fridge freezer. None of these are working
  4. There’s a wide selection of ingenious, resourceful people on the forum, not to mention a load of you who know how to break things. I got rid of some unwanted gates at Stutopia Towers, but now I’m stuck with these. They need to go. Any ideas better than just dremelling them off to a razor sharp stub?
  5. Check the ribbon is reconnected properly. If it isn’t it’s likely been damaged in the remove/reinstall process.
  6. Save yourself the pain of a drying phase, IIRC @ilogikal1 has one of the cool inline filters which means the water can be left to evaporate. It’s right up on my shopping list for my new place.
  7. I've gone off the one on my BRZ, once they scratch, it's there until you're brave enough to wetsand.
  8. I got one of these to save my back, if your surface is flat and pot hole free, its dead easy to shuffle around on the wheels. https://www.slimsdetailing.co.uk/slims-fully-adjustable-multi-shaped-car-creeper-z-l-shaped.html
  9. If a regular two bucket wash was too punishing for me, I’d take the pain of doing it thoroughly one time and then get the Wetcoat on to naked(ish) paint for the best possible bond. After that, if it’s too much to wash, you can top up the wetcoat after each snowfoam and rinse, just using your pressure washer. It’s not ideal, but you’ve got constraints you’ve got to work within.
  10. I picked up one of those Yale 4MP outdoor cams to have a play with, on the basis that they work standalone but can also be added to a larger system if I approved of the quality. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0795XM93D/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I quite like it, will probably buy a two camera and recorder kit, and then add my current one as a third cam. The only down side to it is that because it forces IR at night, it's useless as a camera indoors pointing outside (I can't fit it to the external wall at my flat, but that's not an issue at my house), but that's not what it's meant for. The app is a doddle to use and set up was simples, quality looks good in my trials.
  11. Totally forgot about Envy, great shout Dan, all my envy stuff is in big containers in storage, so I've not used it for ages and they slipped my mind. Everything I've used from them has been good, well priced and in decent quantities to boot.
  12. For your snow foam lance, these style ones do decent foam (with the right pressure and snow foam) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KEW-NILFISK-ALTO-SNOW-FOAM-LANCE-AND-1LTR-BOTTLE-FITTED-WITH-BRASS-ADAPTOR/251608271109?epid=680840714&hash=item3a95058905:g:Z8sAAOSwAHZUP6tT This style seem pretty generic, just find one that’s definitely Nilfisk friendly and order it. They look like they all come from the same factory to me. Personally I CBA with waxing that often, so I tend to use sealants. I use Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer at the wet stage, mainly because it’s grabby on dry paint, but also because it’s a doddle to use with wet paint and it leaves a decent shine with good longevity (given the ease of application). Some people find it streaks but I’m not one of them. It pretends to be a quick detailer, but I have it on good authority it’s more sealantesque. If you want genuine wax quality finish, I haven’t found anything as good as actually waxing, for that really deep, dripping wet look. If if you want something incredible that works in the wet and requires next to no effort, check out this voodoo magic http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-wetcoat.html For wheels, lots of people like http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html It’s an insanely huge amount at a very reasonable price, I don’t think anyone has ever used a full tin! As for suppliers, check out Forum Trader https://waxandshine.co.uk/ but also I use Polished Bliss a lot.
  13. Good luck mate, sure it’ll be fine!
  14. @neo-ninja Please can you post a For Sale ad in - https://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ - that meets the Zeds For Sale rules. Thanks
  15. In the last fortnight I've pulled 2 screws and 1 nail out of my tyres, I'm starting to think this might not be a co-incedence. (I'm not seeing anyone's wife or girlfriend before you ask!) Fortunately, two of the three tyres were down to 3mm anyway, so no great shakes, but the last one was a brand spanker, so I'm a touch irritated - hopefully it's repairable. I'd always planned to get some CCTV around the house, but this has expedited my purchase. I'm thinking 3-4 cameras, IP enabled so I can remote in, at least full HD and with a decent sized box to record plenty of footage before it loops over. Anyone bought and fitted anything they rate? I don't really want to spend more than £400. Thanks.
  16. OMG this is so close! Love the neat install and the cable runs, nice job.
  17. When you get the blank search results, you'll probably be seeing the search terms you used interspersed with + symbols, replace these with spaces and hit Search Again. Alternatively, when you get zero results, hit the "More search options" button. Then hit the "Contain any of my search term words" option and "Search Again". I've not looked into why this happens, will do when I get time, but for now these workaround will have to do. I'll try and find some time today.
  18. That sucks, he’s done a cracking job, excellent foil to Harris. Hope this doesn’t mean more Rory, he grinds my gears.
  19. It needs a fresh kill drapped across the bonnet and some gun racking.
  20. Sure it's heavy duty enough?!?
