My for sale post got approved then deleted?
Stutopia replied to Sim's topic in Forum IT Issues & Bug Reporting
Yeah agreed, I always felt it should be higher. The number of chancers we get barrelling up and trying to sell stuff without bothering to chip in to the community is quite high. Perhaps 50 is a better barometer? -
I was gonna go for it but the absence of a leopard print option has put me right off.

Got 'em, thanks.

I think it’s actually rather beautiful. I don’t mind the read being clean the horizontal vents/slats on vack end have always bothered me on the 911 and I think this looks way better for not having them. Agree with Davey about the 911 being unnecessary. If you don’t know what this is looking at it, you shouldn’t be allowed to buy one. Not sure any 911 would convince me to part with £100k but that’s a very subjective thing, I’d be sniffing around Aston at this price point, but I just love their vibe. Gorgeous though.

If we’re getting into lazy stereotypes you could equally say, “the old voters was a pretty easy one to win, scrap foreigners, job done votes won!”
-
Yeah, taking Momentum as a UK example, they certainly seem to have got their act together as a machine for using social media for targeting and recruiting the young voters. However, that’s probably the most leftist of the influential political groups out there and the policies they’re putting out are not even close to hard left. We had nationalised rail and utilities when I was a kid, but even the Tory government in the 80s never described that as communism! Also, whichever way you lean politically, the messaging is different; advocating increased spending is risky from a taxation point of view, but ultimately the message is one of improvement and is not an outright lie, though many disagree with this ideology you don’t see many examples of outright lying. The messaging that the problems in the UK can be solved by things like curbing immigration (which ties nicely in with the Brexit fiasco) are simply factually inaccurate, or, what we used to call lies.

Got yours mate.

It’s an interesting phenomenon this. I met people in the States getting free Medicare who were dead against it because it’s “communism”. Literally voting to make their own lot worse. The right has really got its **** together when it comes to convincing, particularly less well off, people that money should flow from poor to rich. Whilst I disagree with the lies they pedal to achieve it, you can only marvel at the effectiveness, be it Brexit, privatisation, healthcare, here or abroad.

Excellent news, it feels 5 degrees warmer outside this morning.

It's the worst of everything, neither a leaver nor a remainer should be impressed. On the positive side, at least we've got something that everyone agrees on at last!

Hi Everybody! Just a feeler to see what demand is like for a 2019 Club Calendar. Costs have gone up year on year and demand has sadly gone the other way, so we need to get a handle on what demand is likely to be this year before committing precious club funds. Please stick your name down if your interested in a club A3 wall calendar. Sadly the desk calendar won’t be available this year due to a shortage in submissions last year. Final prices have been confirmed as £18.95 for one calendar or two for £28.90 - delivered. If you've not already put your name down and want to get involved, please PM me to place an order, with your delivery address.

Amazing mate, congratulations! -
At least the Gibraltar thing got resolved today.

So now the murky truth behind your secretive paymasters has all come out! This is as big, if not bigger, as the JFK cover up.

I think that goes for any product, detailing or otherwise, that has an active ingredient. There's also (amongst many other) things to consider like the overall volatility of the product, it's viscosity, how it copes with non-target contaminants or surfaces and simple usability. I'd love to wash my car in lab, where there is only brake contamination on the surface, but then I'd never be able to take it out on the road.

Sort of, I’m more in search of facts than the truth, but that aside, I can comfortably say I typically take the BBC at face value on a news item, because whilst no organisation is 100% accurate in its reporting 100% of the time, the thrust of what an outlet puts out is a barometer of its reliability as a trusted source. There is also the difference between BBC News getting things wrong and them having an agenda. Last but not least there’s a difference between BBC News now and BBC Corporate in the times of Jimmy Savile. I’m more than happy to stand behind the bulk of reported news I read across the likes of The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph or The NY Times, The Washington Post, Associated Press. The same can be said for the news I watch, rather than read, such as the on BBC, CNN or Channel 4. I don’t agree with all of the angles of these outlets when it comes to opinion pieces because that is a subjective take on what’s going on, but I can comfortably read about the Panama Papers or Snowdon in The Guardian whilst also dismissing some opinion rubbish they publish about whatever argument Piers Morgan is in this week or 12 ways to be more vegan in the post climate change era. As you point out, the BBC have gotten things wrong. However, I can’t think of a news outlet that hasn’t had to make a retraction or correction at some some point. I’ve posted up a variety of news sources I use (and trust), so anyone reading my posts is able to have a pretty good stab at seeing my angles. So now stand behind your posts and list out the full gamut of print and/or video news sources you’re using? In particular the ones that, in your words, are a “reliable source for truth”.

Even handed, if a little patronising response from BH. I can’t help but feel whining on about weights of product and dissolved contaminants is like saying, “My VW got 75mpg in the laboratory tests” when its just killed yet another polar bear under real world driving conditions.
