  1. I often see this place quoted on here: http://incartec.co.uk/Manufacturer/Model/Brand/Device/Radio/Browser.aspx
  2. Can't give you any specifics for a military man, but I do have experience in job changes. Fresh out of Uni I took any old job and ended up doing office admin, it was rubbish, but I worked hard, got spotted and it opened up better opportunities after only a few months. Then when I came back from travelling totally skint a couple of years ago, I took a crap job doing IT tech support. Again it was rubbish, but cracked on and made a decent impression, next I know I'm offered IT contractor work on a decent wage. I guess what I'm saying is. Don't worry too much about the initial job (as long as it keeps a Zed going!) but if you go for a sector you're vaguely interested in and get your head down, people above you will notice and send opportunities your way. Intelligent, good grafters are sadly quite hard to find - so people will recognise if you go above and beyond in jobs, and they'll help you along the way. Good luck with the search.
  3. I don't get burning bras. Don't they make life more comfortable for women? If not, why bother? How is that getting at men? Someone please explain. If they wanted to get at men, why not just make the clasps even more complex?
  4. I made this gamble (error?) cos I thought it was worth the risk. Fortunately for me she was a really good mate and after the initial weirdness subsided, we're still bezzies years later, zero weirdness. We're actually even closer. Hopefully it's not just pitty the weirdness really starts if one can't let it go and move on. She's getting married soon enough, gutted on one hand, but she's happy, so that's a win. Sadly, that train has sailed...
  5. SuperStu, that is exactly how I see the situation for most male & female friendships. I reckon it's normally the bloke who would like to be more than just friends but my view may be coloured by my experience True story. If a bloke is nice to a girl, she probably reflex thinks, decent bloke. If a girl is nice to a bloke, he reflex thinks, I could well be in here. We're just wired differently.
  6. Of course, one of my closest confidants is a lady. However, I'd want to be more than friends if the opportunity presented itself. Can't help it, it's natural, someone you're close too mentally, who happens to be attractive to you, it's the ultimate combo. I think the big question is, "is it worth risking a great friendship for the big win?"
  7. I'm quite happy with the size of mine, although the ones on offer are in considerably better condition than my old set Just like the milkman. Always delivers
  8. Great spot, thanks for sharing. Got some of their ratchet spanners, very decent, wish I'd got a bigger set <insert SMD joke here>.
  9. All fixtures and fittings came with mine, I needed them big time as all the old ones broke during removal!
  10. Did you check out the link I posted to Leeds? Says 1 year plus projection.
  11. Try these http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53519-bose-code/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58991-bose-head-unit-security-code/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63977-how-to-enter-bose-unlock-code/ Good luck with it.
  12. It's incredible how tolerant reasonable, intelligent people can be isn't it? Regarding names isn't it quite cool to name kids after their place of conception? Not sure, "On The Floor Of Bedroom 473 West Wing Lower Ground Floor Down From The Servants Quarters Before You Reach The Stables" will work.
  13. What are they going for? Saddam or Osama? Gotta have a statement baby name these days...
  14. You don't have many options. I worked in consumer lending up to the crunch (it wasn't my fault) when self dec was a nice easy option. Like you, I'm now contracting but no lender would touch me until 2 years accounts. You can try Leeds Building Society who I *believe* will give you a shot with 1 year's accounts plus a projection. Only one I could find under two full years. Have a look here, bottom right box: http://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/introducers/pdf/self-employed-accounts-guidance.pdf Sadly I can't confirm if it is current, last I spoke to them, they would. Give them a bell, the lady I spoke to just confirmed my questions straight away, no holding! Good luck.
  15. Yep a nice comfy ride and a cracking breakfast to boot And you know she's always got whipped cream and chocolate spread in the fridge. The little fridge by the bed, not the one in the kitchen.
  16. She could do with a few hot meals first, then I'd consider. You see nicer looking ladies in Meadowhall...
  17. Thats what we were using and then you have to go to the airlines website, at which point for Ryanair a whole world of hurt starts! Sorry, I only used it to get price ideas. Not followed through with a booking via them before. Last resort: http://m.wikihow.com/Build-a-Log-Raft
  18. Something for fans to do whilst awaiting the next news shot. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk-news/quiz/2013/jul/22/royal-baby-quiz I was disappointed with a score of only 12
  19. Try http://www.skyscanner.net
  20. I don't buy into the 'they bring in loads of tourists' idea. The French did the decent thing years ago, people still go and visit France and see the old buildings. Aside from seeing if the flag is flying you don't even know if anyone is in, except the army of servants obviously. The argument makes it sound like when an American tourist comes over to visit they all actually get to meet them, then have tea of an evening at BP or WC. Of all of them though, these two seem about the best of the bunch, so good luck to them and the nipper. With the Royals being so in touch with the people these days, do you think they'll go with a normal person style name? Dave, Ben, Kevin, Levi, Jenny, Lindsay, Joan, Mohammed, SuperDry. Maybe simply JR, like the TV show! Perhaps not...
  21. So jealous, wish I had half that space for my Zed. Lucky Zed!
  22. Nice job, love an audio thread. That's by the far the best contribution those "Bose" speakers will make to any music.
  23. Aren't they above the law?
  24. I've heard good things about autosol. Not got round to it myself yet. My scorpion's looking a bit tired. Interesting to see what else comes up.
  25. I'm confused now. Can I have a "square" front and a uk rear?
