  1. Free mod that makes it look and drive better, perfect!
  2. Dying battery making electrics go bananas?
  3. Nice shot mate! Pop that rear wiper off and she'd be perfect.
  4. Don't sweat that, exact same advisory on mine when I bought her. As above!
  5. I think you can download a 30-day free trial of Corel Draw. So if anyone reads this in future you can dive in and fix graphics for free. I needed it recently to make and icon with transparencies. Easy to use. http://www.corel.com/corel/category.jsp?cat=cat3950067&rootCat=cat3600073
  6. She's a real beaut, bold color choice too. Enjoy!
  7. Not sure I want to know the answer but what's that you're holding, poking out your flies?
  8. Definitely true and agree with that. Bought my Mrs a half price card & single Rose from a petrol station ~ classy. Are they for sale? I assumed they were where people take garden refuse for composting.
  9. Got her a Nismo oil filler cap as the one she's wearing now is marked. WeaponR PAS and coolant overflow tanks ordered for her too. You can't say I don't know how to look after my baby.
  10. So of all the posts from those who "didn't buy the car for the way it looks", no one has done any styling mods? Not even a stubby or a little lip, maybe some clear or smoked reflectors, fluffy dice...
  11. That's really impressive results for no touchy.
  12. For a super basic and quick, (but better than paint whipping machine) wash. Three quarter fill bucket with 3 splodges of car shampoo and water Mitt for body and glass Mitt for wheels only Hose to rinse your mitt every few passes Hose to sheet rinse the car at the end Start at the top, work down. 20 minutes for a quick job. It'll be better than the machine in both finish and damage level, even with just one bucket :scare: If you can spare 15 further minutes, use proper two bucket method and towel or micro-fibre dry after sheet rinse. Treat her to a quick detailer - wipe on wipe off Daniel-San. If time pressure is your enemy, I'd wager in most towns this'll be quicker than a drive to see Mr Handjob, get serviced and the drive home
  13. Don't change anything, it's perfect!
  14. Wow, stunning. These and the 370 are the only other car I see and think I could possibly swap the Zed for one. Do you mind if I ask what the insurance costs were like in comparison?
  15. Nothing, apparently he has gained something called a "life"?! Not really sure what that word means, but apparently it's not something you can buy, and he now has one I've been reading up on the "life" mod, and it seems quite similar to the "other half" mod. I've heard there's decent short term gains to be had, but it can be a pain to maintain over long periods, and often the costs can become quite significant. With some complaints of the sound becoming droney as the years pass by.
  16. Valentines day discount code too BTW, VAL10 Now you can get something for the one you love... ... and your other half. BOOM!
  17. Simple. Stack 5 on top of each other, stand on top, wait for flood water to dissipate.
  18. Beautiful car though! Whatevs Grandad! I'm only 24 I'm only 32 PMSL
  19. I'm defo in tonight, sorry for the absence, I downloaded FM2014 the other day and my time seems to have vanished. Update Laguna Seca: 1:31.164 Willow Springs: 1:19.819 Daytona: 1:57.421 Great choice of car, it's great fun to chuck around
  20. Beautiful car though! Whatevs Grandad!
  21. Just read this article, it's interesting (I think ) to read how soft the paint was and what products could be used on such a beautiful old car, might be handy with the Zed's thin paint. I'd love to have those bonnet vents and wing vents on my Zed, they look AMAZEBALLZ! http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-care-blog/detailing/aston-martin-db4-refining-a-classic/?utm_source=UF+Newsletter+Subscribers&utm_campaign=d4e2f46dd9-August_Newsletter_Two&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_1b3f443310-d4e2f46dd9-60214529 More pics: http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/513-Aston-Martin-DB4-Refining-A-Classic
  22. It's just noticeable how quickly he takes charge when the Thames bursts, IIRC there were floods elsewhere back at Christmas that didn't get his 'money no object' pledge. The red lot are just as bad, and the yellows too.
  23. Don't worry (call me Dave) Cameron is "going to take personal charge" of the flood relief effort. Apparently he's got the kind of experience you need to take charge of a flood relief effort as his moat once got really, really close to being full once, when some of his servants were thrown in for feeding his peacocks the wrong food. He has also said "money is no object" when it comes to flood relief. Clearly it was an object when it came to spending it on sea defences, river dredging, the environment agency budget, and before the floods hit residents of the banks of the River Thames. I wonder who they vote for typically...
  24. I was auto renewed by elephant (admiral subsidiary) they called me a few times, wrote to me and emailed me to check I had reviewed my new documents. They also beat every other quote (including specialists) with a massive stick. I've been really impressed. Did you ask them how they notified you? Might be worth updating all your contact details with them.
  25. Sweet pics mate
