  1. Given the key transponder needs to be near the barrel is the key not in mandatory? Just fit the button, no need to wire in, then just turn the key with your right hand when you push the button with your left
  2. Get some snow socks for emergencies when you're caught out and about. Reduce right foot weight for cold/wet conditions. Taxi for snow. Simples
  3. For mine my body shop guy suggested black vinyl for the quarter window which the louvre adheres to with the supplied goodies in the box. This has the advantage of being dark inside the louvre (instead of shiny glass) when you look in and also means it should be easier to get them off if need be without leaving too much mess. The vinyl step could be disregarded though depending on budget. You could race instead of rice and have the quarter window removed. Might be a bit leaky and windy though
  4. I don't need much of an excuse to pic whore , sadly it's not azure One of my favourite mods, sourced from Tarmac.
  5. Fill your boots mate and get over here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103148-fuchs-titan-race-pro-s-buy-5l-get-1l-free/
  6. He advice I got on my new steering wheel leatherwas, cloth + water, don't get it soaked, don't use chemicals; but that is brand new leather which I'm hoping to maintain from scratch. Not sure if it applies to the heavily soiled. The Dr Leather wipes are universally praised. Might be worth a PM to Ricey @ Revolve he did a great job on a load of leather recently. There's probably a thread or two in his trader section.
  7. If I worked there I'd probably write the same guidance, to avoid having to read the mindless complaints of the professionally tedious "I watched advert A and was so disgusted by item B that I didn't turn over so I could make a list of items C, D and E and then write this letter. I have literally nothing better to do with my time before death."
  8. I've not read a single positive comment. But if you've found one you love, at the right price and are content with no (or can afford not to worry about) after care, might be worth a go
  9. It's good to have these blood letting sessions every now and again. Clears any bottled angst. Will's spot on about taking things to the team first but it's very easy to understand the frustration when you've put the effort in on doing a GB for the greater good of the people like Easty has
  10. '70, its cooler and cougars love Zeds
  11. This is a good 'un, not seen one like this for ages. If it's your business, not a bit on the side I can see why you might be peturbed by an undercut, but to complain for a one off seems a bit strong. If you did a few of them, he/she/it/they might have a point. Stick £1 on top of each set of lines and become a member trader? It'll cover the cost to you and put the whole thing to bed in one go.
  12. Nahhh, if you want some pretty, arch filling wheels, buy some 19s with the right offset. Otherwise save the weight and keep the speed and agility
  13. I was looking into the origin on proverb, "you can't eat the cake and have it (too)" and found a much more pleasing Tamil equivalent on Wikipedia. "[to] desire to have both the moustache and to drink the porridge"
  14. along I had a short jolly in the Swiss Alps, simply stunning, perfect for a roadster http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76678-switzerland-road-trip-with-audi-a3-cabrio-tfsi/
  15. Come on lads, what's going on? Everyone knows girls are for poofs
  16. It is expensive. I go for it when I can get 20% off
  17. I've recently replaced Bosch with PIAA, prefer the Bosch aeros, the PIAAs leave a weird oval just in my peripheral vision.
  18. It may have sparked the line of thinking into ignition, but the context of this thread is much broader ranging than that. It's ideological.
  19. Oooh, I've got that exact lot to go on in the next fortight but not a clue of a starting point to learn from. I'n for the follow!
