  1. I like that, and I think it'll match the steering wheel when I get around to having that done as well. Nice one !
  2. HEATHENS !
  3. How did I miss this ?
  4. Gear change is utterly ridiculous ! Can't wait to drive a mates one once it's back (I think another mate saw your uncles one and a few others down there at Reading a week or so ago).
  5. Either Scorpion or Cobra, as to what one, I'm not sure yet.
  6. I'll head down on the Friday night after work, collect it and deafen myself and others on the way up
  7. I've been lucky enough to spend a fair old chunk of time in FGT's (including multiple times over 200mph in one!), and I absolutely love them. Anyway, this one is pretty raucous
  8. Right, next plan of attack ! I shall try and remove the heat shields above the decats but I have 2 questions. 1: Can I remove them without removing the decats ? (car isn't near by to just go and look) 2: Once removed (if this is the cause), is there another heat shield I can put in place, as I presume they are there for a good reason.
  9. I was torn between an E46 M3, RX7 (a very, very nice one) and 350z. I didn't get a chance to try an M3 out in the end but I thought they would definitely be quicker, and a stonking engine packed in there (especially the CSL). I would have thought the M3 is a nicer place to be ? Either way, welcome.
  10. I'm just gonna quote this as I'm seeing loads of new members not even bothering, fooking annoying !
  11. Well done ! Great to know when it comes to me sorting my one out at some point So once you get those bolts, should everything be ok now ?
  12. FFS how long does it take to get the fronts on as well I tend to think a lot of after market wheels just look tosh, as most owners have zero idea about style (probably me included ) - however, I have to say, these are looking like a very nice decision indeed. I'd be terrified of kerbing the buggers though !
  13. Awesome machine, I didn't realise that they had resolved the issues yet. That must be one of the first ones back as the other guys I know haven't gotten their ones just yet.
  14. The irony of adding a load of carbon fibre wrap (increasing weight)
  15. Just read the post up until now. Damn, sounds like a complete pain in the bum Not that it's any consolation but I also didn't resolve my car woes either. Where are you up to with it ?
  16. Have you thought about fabricating a brake master cylinder brace ? (ie one for an affordable price )
  17. There seems to be plenty of space between all of the potential fouling places, and it's what I expected as it had to be adjusted before the stillen pipe. The heat shields by the decats could be the culprits but only a guess. In the cabin it seems like the decat area, like directly beneath seats.
  18. No joy fixing. Hmm
  19. This bracket, I didn't want to over tighten it...
  20. Hey guys, finally got my head underneath it :-D Nothing is moving at all, literally perfect fit for all parts. Heat shields are in good condition BUT I noticed that I can ping it and it moves where it's not fixed to the car, and this seems like it could be the culprit as it's thin enough to make that kind of sound. I also checked the mid pipe fitting, does it need to be tightened up so that the bracket touches itself? (pic coming in a moment)
  21. A black Z4M Coupe, very nice car indeed. I'd rather that over a 350/370z without a doubt. TBH the best thing to do is drive all of them.
  22. I've literally no idea what the hell it is, nor do I get 'tweeting' or whatever on earth it is.
  23. If any plans fall apart, I'll send you a PM Brad.
  24. Hey Brad, I've already got plans this evening, and tomorrow I'm back down in Surrey to try and resolve my exhaust issues. Otherwise I would have come over to AT LEAST make cups of tea/coffee I tend to snap bolts as well but always willing to learn and I try what I can. It's worth getting the Nissan stuff, the gearbox feels better on it, and try some molyslip as well if it needs it. But for now, I imagine whatever you can find will do. I'm sure you've spotted but if not: http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/141-how-articles/66908-how-clutch-flywheel-install.html http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drivetrain-and-forced-induction-diy/292139-diy-clutch-install-part-ii-jwt-clutch.html
