  1. Hey Ian, welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of your new Zed.
  2. Where do Nissan think you're driving to.....Pluto, what a rip. Buy aTom Tom and get a free update every year and junk the OEM thing.
  3. Or check out the free "Vehicle Smart" app gives you all dates of previous MOT's, whether a straight pass or advisories and what these advisories were for, also ongoing mileage to see if someone has been fiddling with it and what the annual mileage is likely to be. Hours of fun to see how many of your old cars are on the road, SORN, or written off. That seems on the cheap side for an '07 even with the mileage, I've seen '04's sell for a higher price then that.
  4. Congrats Jack and welcome to the forum. Looks like you've got some nice parts with it as well.
  5. Welcome to the forum. You should find everything you need to know about Zeds and you might even pick one up from a member who has looked after it as it's supposed to be looked after.
  6. According to the Torque app I get 109mpg out of my DE, admittedly that's in 6th gear rolling down a steep hill with no throttle.
  7. Hey welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase of your Zed. The only advice i can offer and as much as you hate reading is to read through the FI section of the forum, you'll find a heck of a lot of information, and realistic prices of builds and also problems that can occur. Personally I'd go for a supercharger and your 400whp target would be close to the limit of standard internals. Read the FI section it might surprise you.
  8. These are the best wheels you could ever fit on a Zed IMHO. They're a marriage made in heaven.
  9. I'm after the carry net from the '06 update onwards that sits on the passenger side of the tunnel.
  10. Hey Tracey, welcome to the forum and as you've noticed already, we're a pretty friendly bunch, full of advice tips and expert knowledge (mostly). Its a really rare thing to have a dealer look after you in the right way. Looking forward to seeing some photo's and i hope you enjoy your Zed experience as much as I've enjoyed mine. Four and a half years of ownership still brings a smile to my face when I climb in and start her up. Easily the most enjoyable car I've owned, also the most reliable, other than consumables it's run as sweet as a nut from the day I bought it. Happy motoring.
  11. Totally agree with Irn Bru on this one.
  12. I'd definitely sell privately as it seems to me even at this time of year Zeds are selling at a premium and seem to be going up in price as opposed to their age being detrimental. It'll be interesting seeing just how the prices fare come Easter and Springtime.
  13. I'm sick to death of other drivers treating my Zed like a bumper car. In the last year I've had some numpty scrape my front bumper front O/S taking all of the paint off whilst parked at the dentist. I was parked at my Doctors surgery when someone in a 4X4 reversed into my rear N/S cracking the rear light cluster and slightly denting the rear quarter and what i can only presume a jealous prick keying my drivers door all the way down to the black primer leaving a deep scratch approx 15" long. If I didn't love my Zed so much I would've sold it by now.
  14. I want an orange one and a black one.
  15. Wow, Rich what a wonderful set of pictures you've taken there. Absolutely knockout, I've just been staring at each one for about ten minutes taking in all of the detail. A brilliant job well done.
  16. Great video, just a shame the camera angle was slightly off. Great driving though.
  17. Oohh, if only Christmas wasn't so bl**dy close.
