Good to see this again after so long. Thanks for sharing.

oh lord, started the rocker cover today, what a job that is. I reckon 6 hours work in that. Hoping to refit Sat if I have any fingers left.

One of the advantages of still working from home is that during your lunch hour you can knock a couple of small car restoration bits out Todays lunch hour was spent polishing my relay on my polishing wheel. She has gone from tainted 1971 relay to a shiny chrome one in 30 mins. Rocker cover is next at the weekend.

If they don't have a patent I'm going on Dragons Den with this just to see the reaction on Peter Jones face. I will ask for £200k for 5% of my business.

Great response Stu.

Thanks Col. Not bad for a sewing machine... Will be even better when I fit the weber 45 side draft carbs next Spring.

Are they not 255/40ZR20 ?. Not sure they would look right or fit under there without some mods, ie arch rolling.

Looks good. Will send you the invoice for renting my drive way on the next bill run.

Way over priced IMHO..

Refitting the rear lights was a bigger challenge than I first thought. I knew I had to make all new internal rubber gaskets but the twelve threaded bolts on each light were so bad I couldn’t re thread them. Out came, the angle grinder, 24 new bolts were made from M5 threaded rod, the old ones were removed after a lot of swearing and the new ones fitted with a dab of thread lock for good measure. Everything is back in and looking good. Just need the bumpers back now.

So pleased for you mate. I promised my wife when I got mine I wouldn't mod it and it was a finished car.. oops..

That's lovely. Great project.

its a lot of money. make him wait as long as you need. That's his problem, not yours.

Thought that was Steve Cram on the video . Not sure if they have since fixed the boot release since I had my 2016 Nismo but if they haven't its a pain in the arse so don't think yours is broken. You have to click to release and then click again to lift so its impossible to open with shopping in your hand. Great car though so have fun when she arrives Wednesday Paul. You wont sleep much Tues night I bet. Martin

Nice progress Col. I certainly have had a few challenges to overcome myself which tests your resolve but its all the more satisfying when you overcome them. Looking good.

had mine wrapped on my old 350z, possible but tricky.

Done a bit of cosmetic tidying today. Shelf under the glove box and ignition was a bit crappy with scratches on the hardboard. Covered it with speaker box carpet. Much better now. Going to tidy up that messy wiring next.

Sad day but the Nismo is waiting in the wings.

Going to arrange a min meet in August Col so will include you..
