New radiator went in Sat. Collected new rims Sunday for fitting with coil overs next week. Out with the old and in with the new..Engine bay is slowly coming up to scratch. Also got rid of the unnecessary and ugly over flow tank which shouldn't have been there.

I remember the Green Bitch, she was legendary and wont be forgotten.

Found myself some original watnabes in the very hard to find right size, 114.3 pcd and in 14's with right offset. Had them refurbed this week and collecting them Sunday for fitting next week before she heads off for a week to have her coilovers and suspension set up all fitted.

Great car, known well on here by a reputable member. dependant on price I would suggest its one for you to consider.

£6,500 would be the price for me. It could be the photo but the paintwork around the 350z badge on the rear in the ad looks very poor and much like a bad re spray. My advice with these cars is be prepared to travel. We would all like to purchase a car in our home town and not travel but personally I would travel for the right car. Your money, your call but just don't buy with your heart, your head is a better option. I would also read as much on here about ownership before you dive in, don't rush it. I see you have just 2 posts but that's not to say you haven't been around for a while. There is an abundance of advice on what to do and more importantly what not to do so have a good read before you part with your well earned cash. Good luck.

yep, she wasn't in good shape but an 30 min session with a dremel steel brush, some contact cleaner, new fuses and shes all good.

Small update. A couple of small jobs done this weekend. Fuse box cleaned and fuses replaced. Fitted stainless steel period wiper blades.

Much prefer the revival and watch the period racing all day on the circuit which is a time capsule. Simply brilliant.

Totally agree. I have stepped out of Zs as is well documented on here by my new project. I am committed to keeping my REO status for the South East for the forum. Its a great place with some great members some of which I have become personal friends with. We should all be very proud of what we have created here.

When and where is it Ady. She is having her coilovers fitted beg March so it will depend on timing. She will be at most events this year. Will be on your turf at the ACE meet in June for sure and maybe Japfest.

Small update. The radiator in my 510 SSS coupe is not a 510 radiator, is plumbed with the wrong hose configuration and is useless in its current state. 510 radiators are very very hard to come by and owners end up having to fit aftermarket alloy copies which is not what I wanted to do given I want the car to be 100% original. After a hard search I found one that was well cored and working but needed a good paint. This weekend I managed to clean it up, paint it and get her ready for fitting. Some photos below of the current rad, how she looked on receipt, during cleaning and painted ready for fitting.

I'm still here and acting as South East REO. Had and modified a 350z and 370z Nismo. Now own a Datsun 510 SSS Coupe.

Get a Tom Tom or similar. I had a Tom Tom in my 350z that wedged perfectly into the cubby. Looked OEM when she was sat in there.
