  1. Happily what? That sentence could go either way. GLWTS
  2. csmith for me, just 'cause the awesome beard. Car is pretty cool too GL
  3. This is also cheaper than a Cobra system as it includes y-pipe, near enough £700 these days for a Cobra cat back I think. GLWTS
  4. Is your (I'm guessing here) missus your car guard or something? Most of the photos have her standing next to it, either that or the random stranger is a big fan of your car. Looking really good love the interior, how much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?
  5. Ah okay, might not be for me then if I'm thinking of changing wheels.
  6. It's either the curse of the SC or my own stupidity, I haven't worked it out yet. Actually yeah, you're to blame and I'm sure I haven't dropped out of Trax..
  7. So yeah, a lesson learned for you all... Albeit a stupid one. When you decide to change the pulley make sure you tighten the tensioner pulley nut back up or this might happen at national speed limit speeds... Luckily I got someone to come pick me up, get my belt and refit it, I don't appear to have done any damage. It's what I get for rushing the job late at night, what a plonker. Luckily the tensioner pulley was just sitting on the undertray and the spacer was sitting on top of the slam panel.
  8. Gave it a little drive today with the belt off (good advice), it seems to drive a lot better but there are still a few flatspots at the lower RPMs. It was no where near as noticeable as when the charger is connected.
  9. I'll take the cog pulley off then (I'm assuming that's the one behind the ribbed pulley?) and see how it runs. Surely if there is something wrong with the map due to that smaller pulley grinding into the bracket at the time of tuning it will still cause problems driving NA?
  10. Can someone explain what's wrong with his message? Looks like he has some info about the car he might want to share with the new owner?? Or was it misspelled originally and has since been corrected?
  11. At Trax I'm only watching but it is the distance I have to cover to get there. Oh yeah that reminds me, break down cover! Cheers guys, I'll keep positive.
  12. I've been told it will run just fine on the bigger pulley but I'm guessing the jumpy/lumpy ride is just due to the fact is was tuned on something that was basically trying to bury itself into the bracket. I'm booked in with Jez but I've got to wait until the 15th of Sept..! Not sure if I want to take it to Trax now or not and it's a week before I go to Germany so I do hope it'll all turn out good for me.
  13. Cheers GM, I am feeling a little bit down about it at the moment but I know these are the woes of modding. From what I could tell the car felt less resistant at lower RPMs but it was still a bit jumpy, I'm guessing the map needs to be modified now.
  14. So, in between the rain and work I went out and changed the pulley. I don't have any pictures of the WIP but safe to say it was a total PITA, you have to basically undo the charger from the bracket and move it as far forward as possible to get the pulley off and even further to get the bigger one on! So you guys that are thinking of running the 3.33 for a while just remember it might not come off as I had trouble with the 2.87 and 3.12 (only just managed to get it after 30 or so minutes of wriggling in different directions). Anyway, this is the back of the 2.87 and it's done a proper number on the bracket which luckily isn't anywhere near the 3.12 pulley. Went to take it for a test drive but typically it decided to rain and due to me currently having no wheel arch liner I had to turn back and crawl home at 5mph which was fun. I also found out after a good look that my wing got bent out of shape and the paint got cracked where Jez had a little knock in my car, it just gets better and better. The joy continues, oh well new bumper and wing repair next week.
  15. Wasn't that someones car from on here? I recognise the damage, his lady was driving and a van done a u-turn without warning or something.
  16. Well, that's only a 'hypothetical' situation... Maybe after dinner Grundy can be the little spoon.
  17. Wrong part, it's the bit closer to the engine that are the cats/decats.
  18. Why..I like my neighbours..well some of them anyway..!!! To be fair, mine is a bit too loud and when I get some funds back I'll look to quieten it down a bit.
  19. So say if I murdered my girlfriend, cut her up in to pieces and put her in the fridge. I then invited Grundy around for dinner and fed him the remains, would it be illegal for the police to excavate Grundy's bowels? Edit: I have it on good authority he can eat a lot.
  20. Be a man, get non-resonated and decats
